Thanks everyone so far for the very good advice, right now i'm in college and I have the camera for hobby/class. The money I wouldn't mind chunk change. Just to get some booze, ass, etc

I like photography and its one of my hobbies, but i dont want to make money from events, weddings, etc. Iam more into selling photos from stock photos sites, but i never did that, i dont have a camera for that too, i need a dslr. What are the requirements to start selling photos? it's hard to sell them? you must be very good or just average? Iam addicted to photography and i would like to make money from this.

I work for a Stock photo company and they do good biz.. just a suggestion.. don't rule out stock photography.

hi
i also like photography. i was very keen of taking nature and some adventurous pics. i want to start my career in photography as well.
now a days i am focusing on wedding photography. it earn me some. i also join Fiver. Sell your services on it. hopefully it would work.

A new camera and wanting to be a pro? It's not that easy. A good lens will set you back 3 times the cost of a DSLR and you will need at least 3 good lenses to have decent equipment to start with.

I'd say learn the ropes and find a setting that suits you well. Micro/macro photo gigs for ebay/etsy store owners over fiverr may be a good thing to start with. Good luck.

You can actually earn decent ammount of money by particpating in various competition on diffrent site. It works for me hope it will work for you too....
