    Hello,

What do photographers do to market their work? I am talking about fine art photography, online marketing and getting many followers. I am intrigued by how some photographer in google plus, you know them, have more than a million followers and than there are other photographers with equal ou better work with only a few followers, let's say between 10k to 50k. What these guys are making to get so much people behind them? I mean a fu**ing million or more, they have to do something unless they are some kind of celebrities. I note that these photographers also have around 20k people following them everyday and the other ones are stopped in time getting really few per day, maybe 10 to 100 a day. Thanks.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder man... What you see as awesome content, doesn't necessarily mean others have to as well. This is particlualrly true for photography. the best you could do is to take courses in lighting and angle shots and whatnot. It's what my friend's trying to do no. Do newbie photographers make it big all the time? Sure! Will you? Chances are slim to nil. But there's HOPE! You can WORK your way towards being a better photographer, rather than look for ways to drive traffic to pictures that people just aren't interested in. I hope you make it big, brah...

    G'Luck!

Apart from making great shots, getting involved is equally important. Participate in (and win) photo competitions, share you knowledge, blog, and interact with people. Start small and make them coming back for your new picture. Just keep on cranking out good stuff, continuously.

Oh, and get KenRockwell.com to feature you somehow ;-)

I am not talking about me, i was comparing professional photographers with other professional photographers, well known ones with very good pictures and only have a few followers, less than 1% of the big ones with million's. I mean they have to market themselfs a spent alot of money. It's impossible to have that unless you are some kind of TV star.
