Photographer on tiktok? Worth a try?

Hi folks, new here :p

I want to start with my photography journey again and with Tik Tok exploding and giving Instagram a race/fight its the best time to start with video (in my opinion).

So, as a photographer what do you guys suggest me to create videos of? I can't use my brain right know.. Behind the scenes and photo collage is not something I want to start doing. I am searching for a way there I can show me work and in the same time entertaining the audience.

To be best photography you have to provide best material, for me all photos are same, so if you wanna try don't try if you don't have anything special to offer

That a good ide! But in the same time I see it impossible because I don't have anyone to record the "process", I mean for that kind of video/-s there must be a "camera man" who follows me and can record while I go to strangers and take photos of them?

you're right, you need a partner or maybe you can pay someone on hourly basis

that's the problem, I don't have someone who can runt after me with a camera/phone or pay someone for doing it because I don't have that kind of budget hehe, but that was a very good idea :)
 
Behind the scenes content does very well (showing you taking a photo) with the end results either at the end or posted on your Instagram for that sweet, sweet cross-promotion.

if you don't have anyone to film for you, it becomes more difficult. If you only do photography and not videography, you could try creating small 'stories' by taking trending songs and trying to 'tell the story' of the music using photos you've taken.

Have seen quite a few successful photographer accounts, they all tend to post behind the scenes stuff and how to tutorials. Basically you want to split all of your content into 2-3 parts (kind of before and after) to make people curios

Definitely photography tips and tricks, especially for those looking to build their own IG/TT accounts. So show them how to compose, how to pose, etc

Very good idea. OP you have to think out of box like this if you want to achieve good results in short time.

Show off your photography tricks, some photos you've taken with amazing music or even some short videos teaching how to take better photos and I guarantee you'll have quite a bit of an impact :)

Hey, I don't think that you need a partner to do these trending vids where you are taking good pictures for strangers, there's a lot of way to record without your hands and I don't think that the people that are posting these videos right now even have a partner

There are so many nice stock photos of cam girls. Get a photo pack of a cam girl that has got a good style of photos, then create a page, and put your contact there as the photographer behind the photos. You could run ads for that page also. Do multiple pages for different girls and drive traffic to your main website.
 
Yeah you can kick this idea on tiktok to gain attention mostly if you snap natures and design for 3D explode.
 
There's almost infinite angles with it if you use some creativity
 
Teaching videos, but that's probably not for you, judging by the question in the thread. You can show a collage of cool photos and in the background tell the story of the photos: how it was taken and things like that.
