Any virtual number (most of the verification services you can find online) won't work well.
These numbers are DIDs and are very easy to spot. You can use https://www.twilio.com/lookup to verify a number. It will tell you who owns the number nad if the number is registered as a landline, then you have a DID.

You can verify one account per sim. If you enter the same number in 2 accounts then the first one becomes unverified. If an account gets banned in the future that sim will become available again to use after a short while. The free SMS online stuff isnt worth it as so many of these sites go and leave you in the future unable to get a text and reverify. Best you own the sims.

Does anyone know what sims / brands work in the US? Would love to use my own phones instead of sketchy online numbers.

One question regarding PVA: I read that PVA is actually a measurement to verify accounts e.g. of famous people (because there a lot of people faking accounts with their pics). There are a lot of videos out there where people show how you can "verify" yourself your account, but often its not a permanent and in a way it's kind of "hack".
So, the PVA that you can buy - what is that actually -also kind of "hack"? And if so, isn't there a danger than IG detects that and therefore losing the account?

PVA (Phone Verified Accounts) are treated as less spammy because it costs money to add a phone number to an account.

Since it costs money, your average joe is much less likely to be able to create 100s of accounts and spam the shit out of Instagram.

Make sense?

There is no hack to verifying an account.

I heard that only VIPs and people with a huge fanbase get verified by IG. If this is true AND there is no hack - maybe my perception is wrong, but it seems like there are a lot of people out there offering PVAs, is that right? And if so, how did they get it?

you guys are confusing PVA (phone verified accounts) with instagram verified accounts (accounts with a blue tick)

PVA are accounts that have been verified with a phone number (accounts that are verified with a phone number are less likely to be flagged or banned)

instagram verified accounts (IVA) are accounts that have been verified BY instagram (facebook) to be legit and to represent whatever person/place/group/business.

PVA is nothing special and any idiot with a phone number can do this.
