Phone Number for Local Seo Site?

I'm building my first local seo site, I plan on selling leads later on, how would you guys go about setting up a location and phone number for the business? (NAP)

I live in USA so I was thinking about using google voice number but not sure if it the best way because I will need to use the VPN to setup citations as well, any advice? Thank you.

I'm going to assume this is a free version google voice, in that case I would steer clear. You may end up losing clients in the process.

I would get a paid dedicated number for your business, which one? Good question.

Get a paid one, since that number will be mentioned in multiple sites.

I tried Google Voice for some websites but it seems they have some tools for detecting GV numbers and they didn't accept my registration finally. some others may accept " text now " but each website should check separately anyway.

Grab a real local address and a Google Voice number to make your local SEO site feel legit. Just be mindful of VPN use when setting up citations.
