Im now at a point to where I have to decide whats better for my situation

Using mobile proxies for instagram on my physical phones through tun2tap or socksdroid etc..

Or having individual sim cards inserted in each phone. Yes I know for most this would be crazy but I'm in a country where dataplan isnt expensive at all.

I was going to go with the first option, but I worry that Instagram detects that the phones are using proxies. Is this the case?

Get a proxy, and then route it through an app via your device. That way, you can use 1 proxy across multiple devices

That was one of the options in my thread but like i mentioned im pretty worried IG detects phones are using proxy instead of real data from sim card

Real Sim cards in each phone's are Safer .Instagram trust genuine mobile IP's more than Proxies .So fewer Blocks and Flags.

Sim cards are definitely safer — Instagram trusts real mobile IPs more than proxies, which means fewer flags, bans, and overall smoother operation.

sim card option is best.

Are you targeting a location outside of your country? If not, then a SIM card is the best choice. If yes, then you need to use proxies; residential or mobile will be the best.

Sim cards better than proxies all day.

If data's cheap go sims for each phone (cleanest).
Mobile proxies work but risk detection; match fingerprints & rotate.

all the data will be from the same provider anyways. so thats no different from using a proxy is it

Sim cards will always win, better at scale as well considering your data is cheap lol, safer anyways

I’ve tested both setups in the past, and honestly, each has pros and cons.
Using mobile proxies is definitely more convenient for management and rotation, but it really depends on how stable the proxies are and how you connect them. On the other hand, real SIMs give you true mobile signals, which naturally look more authentic, but scaling that setup can be time-consuming.

If your local data plans are cheap, SIM cards might be simpler and more consistent in the long run. Curious to hear what kind of scale you’re aiming for?
