I have an online friend who currently owns and runs a computer shop.

The shop has around 9 PCs which are relatively new.

He is looking for ways to boost his revenues. He already is offering services like editing and printing.

Any suggestions?

Increase Google map reviews and spread your internet care through word of mouth

Host events of popular games people play. Or host tournaments with a cash prize. Everyone puts in 5-10$. The winner wins 50 and profit 40. Make more money selling food and drinks.

Let some people play games for free in exchange for in game currency.
Then have your friend sell the in game currency.

Do a little research into what game/currency/accounts are currently in demand.

Can also sell snacks/drinks to the free players.

Good luck

Internet cafe's in the Philippines is a dying business unless you convert it into a gaming center, but the problem is there is already a law that students are not allowed during school hours, unless they are doing school related activites...

I own an Internet Cafe back in 2009 (yes, Philippines) and sold all my units when smartphones became a thing and mobile games are becoming the trend.

I would suggest that if your friends internet cafe is located near schools, he'd better provide printing and photocopy services. He also needs to provide Research Services (which is a thing in the Philippines) as there are a lot of lazy ass students who doesnt want to do their assignments.... include encoding services too.

If he does not want to do those things, convert it into a pure gaming center, install DOTA2, LOL and other popular native desktop games. Just be ready with all those filthy languages youll here when they are enjoying themselves playing. But also expect to only get customers after classes and the whole days on weekends, unless your town is not the strict when it comes to students going to internet cafes during school hours.

And one more thing, better tell your friend to join BHW right now and learn IM. I joined 2012 when I still have my cafe, but through the years, I learned a lot and now Im feeding my wife and 3 kids mainly because of BHW. :)
