How is what Ruck did wrong? He posted to his blog about a tactic he's used before and on which he has experience and knowledge. How is it that you feel the idea or concept should be be communicated only via Spammer's ebook? It's not wrong to publish on a subject that has already been written about, and intellectual property law specifically addresses this. Ideas and concepts cannot be protected by copyright. Otherwise there would be only one published author on any given topic/idea/concept. Besides, Spammer is about as coherent as a drunken high school cheerleader.

The very fact that Spammer was trying to control communications and information with an iron fist across several forums in a Web 2.0 environment should tell you a little something about his grasp on these and other matters. What a dumbass.

In any case, Ruck was getting bombarded by PM's by people on forums asking him about the torrent stuff--presumably because he exhibited some knowledge, experience and the wherewithal to communicate above the level of that aforementioned drunken cheerleader.

Anyway, he said he was bombarded with PM's and I've no reason to disbelieve him, especially since I sent one of them myself.

Just had an enjoyable thought: Spammer isn't around to delete my posts any longer.

I mean, EVERY SINGLE TIME I posted a "thank you" to someone who actually did post something helpful and worth incorporating into a longer-term plan, the moron deleted both the helpful post as well as my "thank you". I'll assume it was because he was intimidated by the guys here who actually do know a thing or two.

Just because someone posts that they were doing something all along doesn't make it necessarily fucking so, Barbie.

Spammer wasn't controlling communications...he was banning people who were giving his product away for free. This was hurting people who actually paid for the product. You're probably one of those girls who thinks everything on the internet should be free and that you're entitled to it. Am I close there, Barbie?

It doesn't matter whether or not Ruck had been doing it all along or not, his information is not only much more credible, but exponentially more coherent. Oh, and it actually works too! I've made some nice sales in the past few days using his advice.

My main point about multiple authors publishing on similar or same topics still stands as well. If a marketer can't compete AT ALL without silencing/banning competitors, well ... 'nuff said there. And how is that not trying to "control communications"? I mean, c'mon! He was running around other forums threatening lawsuits because someone published on a similar topic. How ignorant is that? I'll answer that question for you: It's ignorant beyond description.

And all the while his customers are getting banned over and over on the torrent sites following his method. That alone speaks volumes about Spammer's expertise and experience in that particular arena. It's kinda funny imagining these guys registering over and over and uploading the same torrent, over and over. Blind faith, that is ... and quite misdirected. But then again, it's probably just abject desperation.

The information or concept contained therein is not proprietary by any stretch, and therefore the information or concept is not his product. Your assertion is the same as insisting because Spammer wrote another ebook on sale for $97 about--say--Knit Customized Ovenmits for Your Family and Friends, anyone publishing information about knitting customized ovenmits would be in the wrong. Absurd, at best.

What was hurting people who actually paid for the product is the fact that they paid $97 for an ebook recommending a method that is infeasible because they are flagrantly violating the TOS of the service they are attempting to use as a distribution channel. And, in their desperation, they try again and again to succeed with it hoping that soon it will yield the results promised.

No, I don't think everything on the internet should be free. However, I am one of those girls who understands Intellectual Property usage and laws, as well as the difference between a "product" and an "idea" or "concept". You might look into such information yourself. You'll need to arm yourself if you want to continue this debate without appearing delusional or hysterical.

I agree, putting our name or emails on a list like that could result in retaliation. I think just spreading the word in the community about these guys, banning their forum accounts, and boycotting their offers is the best we can do.

I have just gotta come and say that l know is a stand up guy, his wife makes him wear a chefs hat when he does a barbie guess that counts as whitehat and he even does the dishes.
He speaks as he see's it but often than not he is on the money, no l am not on his payroll but you guys should listen to his advice because he'll often give advice for free thats better than some advice people charge for.
