When does he ask for the cash tho?

Keep it going and see how far you can take this - obviously don't pay the guy - you might get more information about this scammer in the process.

the way it works if u read the link on scams is.
they feed u a line like my wife died - i moved house -
pet is free - all u pay for is the dog to be sent by a
Currier van - we as the buyer give him our details
    add/number ect - then a fake currier calls u - asks
u to send money - and your ripped - and his emails
are almost the same as thoes listed on the puppy
scam site - even down to i moved to scotland .

i no his number is out the uk - as on my mobile tarrif
all calls to home/mobiles are 8p - my credit went down
1 pound for a 1 min mobile call.

but lets see were this goes - still asking anyway i can
trace his number for an accurate location so i can call
when all this is done and call him a prick and feel better

I smell Nigeria. Trace his IP.
There must be thousands of scammers and they all write in the same style English, lots of 'okay's, 'but's and 'so's in long sentences with 0 punctuation and of course the scammers's pimp, i mean lawyer / delivery company / priest and what not, usually makes an appearance too. If those people were putting as much effort in some real IM they'd be far wealthier imo.

I had the same thing when looking for a kitten. He said the kittens were on the Isle Of Man and he would courier one for 150. I told him cool, my brother lives there whats your address i'll send him round. Never got back to me...
Damn, he must have given the kitty to someone else, lol

Thinking about it, is there an easy way to get his email onto a spam list?

Why would you buy a dog when there are millions waiting to be taken home for free + you save their lives.
When you buy a dog you kill another. Period.

Once I tried same thing. Looked for puppy online and bumped with similar style of scammers. Just out of my curiosity, I sent another email using a fake account to the same email address who asked me about my info. Later on, the scammer said he is from turkey while he said he is from the US on his email to me.

Go trace this scammer! let us know what's the outcome.

You have emails sent from him. Look at the email header and trace the originating IP using any dns tracer like dnsstuff.com (paste it into the IP Information filed).

If you don't know which header IP is the originating one, check them all, shouldn't be more than 4 or 5. It will serve you in the future for unrelated matters too since it is never a bad idea to know how to verify locations.

+44 phone numbers are very common in these schemes since you can get such a number for free and all calls to it are redirected to your phone number almost anywhere in the world at no cost.
