Pesky Blogger Post

Hi everyone I have been lurking here for a very long time and this is my first post. Years ago someone posted a blogger post about me and of course it was all false etc etc, I contacted Google to ask that it be removed and they more or less told me that it's obviously a false posting etc but told me that it cannot be removed. So, I am wondering, what are my options? Thank you again everyone for a great place to learn and share.

Of course you can beat that false post about you with an accurate post you should make.. but trust me it could take a long time.

Since all of the content on Blogger, including all of the websites, are technically owned by Google, this means that Google is capable of deleting or modifying the defaming post.

If the post contains slander or false information about you, then you can visit Blogger's troubleshooter for instructions on how to send Google a legal removal request as this is considered Internet defamation. In the event that Google does not remove it the content, you can always make an endeavour to procure a court order and send it to Google.

Thanks so much, yeah I created a bunch of SEO friendly sites and social segments to push it down, I think I will pursue the legal removal process of course and it's nothing more than a headache of sorts , Thank you so much for the replies.

Yeah google would have to remove it if you requested it so. How bad is the post in question?
