Personal Profile to Fanpage possible?

Hi. i would like to convert my personal page with 5000 friends to a fanpage

From what i heard theoretically all the friends will migrate and convert as likes/fans. anyone did this with succes? what percent of your total friends are now likes?

I read a lot of post from last year on facebook help section and people complained only a small part of the friends converted to likes. like 300 from 5000, 1500 from 5000 and so on. people also complained that they receive a message with "only 10 days remaining until you can migrate friends to likes" but most of the friends are grayed out(frozen) and you can't select them again so you can migrate them to likes.

anyway, who can tell me more about this subject?

Is this really possible? I haven't heard of someone who tried this before but would be interested to hear from those who have.

yes is possible. too bad no one can reply to this
