personal paypal only checkout in e-commerce store?

hi,
I am launching an ecommerce store for US audience. and paypal is facing some technical issue due to which I cant upgrade now to business account ( then I can accept credit cards also).

But if I only give the option to make payment with personal paypal only, would it cause too high number of incomplete transactions? I mean does a average american has personal paypal just like credit card?

I am from india.
