Personal Meta Account Disabled

I'm a media buyer, and my personal account just got disabled. I have a good history and have been running ads for a long time so there has to be a way to get it back.
However Meta won't allow me to log in or submit an appeal. I'm completely locked out.

I know I should have had a backup account in case something like this happened, but I never set it up.

Does anyone have a way of resolving this?

Also, since I'll probably have to create a new account now, what's the best way to do it?
- should I use a new laptop if this one is somehow flagged?
- should I use a different network or a VPN?
- how does ID verification work? has my ID already been burnt?
- anything else I should now?

any help is appreciated

If it was indeed a real account with an excellent history, I would start with exhausting all the possible ways to get back my account legally. If it is indeed a new one, be sure to maintain consistency throughout the process and don't try to trick Meta out.
 
If it was a genuine personal account with a long history, I'd spend some time trying to recover it before starting over. An aged account with real activity is usually worth more than a fresh one. If you do end up creating a new account, build it naturally and secure it with 2FA from the beginning.

It is common for Facebook’s sweeps to disable accounts, even legitimate personal ones. In my opinion, you should always have a few backup accounts rather than relying on just one. You can use AdsPower to create a fresh environment when setting up new accounts. As for identity-verified accounts, I don't consider them necessary right now, as I currently run Facebook ads using unverified accounts.

Yeah it's a real account with more than 7 years of history... Connected to many legit businesses and ad accounts.

Trying everything but Meta locked me out. No way to submit an appeal so it's frustrating

What is the reason which it got suspended?
like did you violated tos or did you tried to run with cloaking or what exactly?

I assume it's because an account I was linked to got suspended for exaggerated claims. It was a biz-opp type of business.
I stopped working on it before it happened but I assume I got swept away because I was in charge of it prior to that
 
I wouldn’t rush to create a new account right away. If the old one had a good history, it’s better to try everything possible with the appeal process first - sometimes Meta blocks accounts automatically. Check all available support channels, because a brand-new account can also run into problems if the underlying reason for the ban hasn’t been fixed
 
It's common for Facebook to disable accounts, even legitimate ones. I always keep backup accounts ready and use AdsPower for a clean setup. Verified accounts aren't essential in my experience.
 
If you still have access to any business assets, check to see if you can contact Meta support from here

There is definitely a way to appeal this account, however it's not possible today.
Please wait a little longer, Facebook sometimes unexpectedly opens the door for us to successfully appeal our accounts at night.
It's best to use a proxy.
Your identity may be revealed if you previously posted them on Facebook to verify your identity.
 
For recovering your legitimate account, keep trying Meta Business Support and document everything sometimes escalating through a Meta agency partner gets faster results than direct appeals. For the account creation questions around VPNs and evading flags, that's not something I can advise on.
 
If you cant access the appeal process your best option is to contact Meta Support if available if you create a new account use your real identity and follow Metas policies rather than trying to work around the restrictions
 
If the account had a long clean history, I'd put all my effort into getting access back thats usually worth far more than starting from scratch.
 
Your account getting locked is a very common occurrence. If it's your real account that you've been using for a long time, appeal to get it back. Otherwise, create a new account. Use a new device and a new mobile data network, and set up two-factor authentication to ensure your account is secure and functioning normally.
