I live in a pretty saturated market. I had a meeting with a personal injury lawyer today. He wants multiple sites targeting different segments of PI locally. i.e "Car accident city" "slip and fall city". Anyone have any experience doing seo for a personal injury lawyer.

My thought is to make them landing pages with a "free consultation" form on the right. Then maybe get 5 or so 500 word optimizd articles for the site. I know its probably going to be tough, but I really want this client and I really think it can be huge for me.

Am I on the right track? Any help would be appreciated

It's not as hard as you might think...

I just got in this niche myself, let me tell you something the value a page 1 ranking would bring is worth up to 5 figures a month with this term so DO NOT UNDERSELL your service. Right now we are doing pay per click it you can spend a few thousand dollars PER WEEK very easily for these services. The work you will do will either be expensive (getting good quality writing from people who know what they are doing) or time consuming, either way I would stick with quality work on this one.

I would focus on high quality guest posts on high PR/DA blogs and sites, some manual web 2.0 and very high quality press releases going to the site as soon as you have set up your optimized pages.

Yes
you are on the right track
