Hi everyone,

I’m working on helping my girlfriend grow a personal development business. She’s 25, successful, likes to be on camera, and has 12k ig followers.
We want to grow the ig, Facebook, YouTube, and tiktok accounts. Then use ad spend on Facebook, ig, etc to sell courses, tools, consulting, etc.

Does anyone have experience with this type of business model? Tips? I’m also considering hiring someone to run the ad campaigns at least initially .

PM if you want to work together.
Thank you!

Where do you want to run campaign on? Google adward or bing for her promotion?

I was thinking more Instagram and Facebook, although I would be open to hearing opinions on other marketing channels. Probably have a funnel back to YouTube? Or direct to product? That is where I need help.
I work in real estate. I’m more familiar with cold calling, email, text message, direct mail marketing.

advertise her image on the Facebook platform, with her videos
It's a good medium, I think it's worth a try

that’s pretty much what I’m thinking but want to use someone with experience running ads and proven results

Youtube is a great way to build a community following around an online guru. Because you can easily hook onto trending topics while continuing to talk about your thing. Once you pick up steam then it'll become very easy to sell courses to your existing audience (as opposed to running ads to a completely fresh audience)

So I would advise using her instagram following and promote a few videos on there - asking them to watch the complete content on Youtube. Her IG following can at least be used as a foundation for her Youtube channel. Then start feeding the channel content to gain the audience and traction. THEN sell courses.
Hard to sell courses to people who don't know who you are. But if they already like you and follow you - the chances of them buying greatly increase.
