Recently, I've encountered a problem where some of my personal advertising accounts aren't automatically paying, and I always have to pay manually. After manual payment, the accounts are immediately closed. Is there a way to fix this? I would appreciate any advice from experienced users.

Not exactly a FB expert but pretty sure they have one identity one payment method one account policies.

So you're having the account graphed/correlated.

You may have disabled manual payment mode. Please check again, or contact support for assistance.

This typically indicates the payment method is flagged by the ad platform's risk system, not your account. Manual payment triggers a secondary review that often results in suspension. The fix is to use a fresh, clean payment method with matching billing details and ensure your account activity appears legitimate before the first ad spend.

It’s possible that manual payment is turned off. Please double-check your payment settings, and if you’re unsure, contacting support can help clarify and resolve the issue.

With the new account, when I try to get paid for a job, the account always gets closed.

To be precise, some personal accounts are by default unable to make continuous payments, requiring manual payments even though I contacted support, but it was no use.

In many cases, the platform restricts auto-billing because the account has not built enough payment or spending trust yet. Allowing the account to age, starting with very small test spends, and keeping billing details consistent often helps stabilize payments and avoid sudden suspensions.

This problem is often quite difficult to fix
You could try adding a large amount of funds to increase your credibility with Facebook so they can autopay from that amount

It's been quite a while since I used a personal account, and I haven't encountered this issue with current BM accounts. You might consider switching to a BM account.

In some cases, certain personal accounts aren’t able to process automatic or continuous payments by default and require manual payments instead. Even after contacting support, this limitation doesn’t always get resolved, as it can be tied to internal account settings rather than a specific error.

Some accounts are very difficult to fix for automatic payments, and manual payments are very time-consuming and inconvenient because you can't always be there to monitor the account balance until the payment is processed. I think you should switch to a different account.

You can add that account to line 1 of your Business Manager, and then you can reopen your closed account.

Find a good Business Manager (BM) account, then give the personal account owned by that BM.

This is a very common issue with ad platforms (Meta/Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.), and unfortunately it usually points to account trust or billing risk, not a simple payment bug.

Payment failures are largely due to new accounts lacking sufficient credibility in the system's eyes. The solution is to keep all payment information consistent, avoid sudden changes, and make small transactions to build trust. If necessary, contact Support to manually check your payment settings. Patience in the early stages will help you avoid account sweeps and stabilize your cash flow later on.
