Personal account ban

Personal IG received a ban today. There was no link in the bio, nor any spamming done on this personal acc ever. When i visit the link to this account the pictures are still available to see. Does this mean it is a temporary ban?
Also, do any of you think it was an IP ban or a device ban that caused this? Thanks.

Instagram may have reset your password because it assumed your account was compromised. This normally happens when you sign in using a new third party app, or from a different device on a different IP. Check your email. They should have sent you one if that was the case.
Otherwise, what exactly does it say when your try to sign in, because clearly, it isn't banned. If it were, you won't be able to click on your @Account link and IG would say: 'User not found.'
