No, I give direct links for 90% of the plugins that are free. And for the paid plugins I have alternatives or if you're a member of BHW (you), you can probably get them here regardless.
The only thing that should cost you is web hosting and cost of domains.

I had to post after I received this in my email.
I just signed up when I bought the ebook that's why I have 0 posts. I'm a forum lurker more than a poster. If you look on WF you will see that I have several posts on their forum. My post was not a fake review by the author. I don't have a clue who the author even is.
I have a question for the author or anyone else who might know.
Is there a way to save a copy of the settings for plugins that you can use for each site install instead of having to re-setup each one?
It's really annoying to have to keep setting up plugins every time you start a new site.

That's a good idea, you could do a fresh install on one blog with the settings you want. Then save the database to upload later to any new blogs you create.
You'll still have to make some changes, but it might help speed things up.

Boughtt the ebook after seeing I would get free updates. Happy days. Have a question, I sell my own product on a site that ranks No. 1 in G for my keyword. I have a whole bunch of Linkwheels using web 2.0 sites. What my aim is is to push these web 2.0 sites up the SERPS so I can take over page 1 on G. I am thinking about setting up 12 Autoblogs. Can I use these blogs to create backlinks to each web 2.0 site to help with the SERPS? Basically, can an Autoblog site be used to constantly supply backlinks to a site? Or am I missing the point?

I wanted to include info on WPMU, but really I'm not too much into them myself so I didn't. You really don't need a mass program like that for what we're creating.

It's a few months old as is.. the Autoblogging world changes fast, but it's still relevant. The strategies are the same, some of the tools have changed but I'm working on that. An update is being worked on right now, and as mentioned already updates are free to previous customers.

Well, you can do that with autoblogs, but really autoblogs are for traffic and using that traffic for whatever you want. I collect emails, promote affiliate offers, etc. But they can be used for PR once they age a little.

It's a great book tons of useful information. I wanted to get into the autoblog scene and there are just too many damn options but with the autoblogbook i got some sort of idea on which route to take and what not..I have all the tools necessary from keyword research to forum backlinking im just undecided on which route to go and how to approach it but im sure as i go into the next few weeks this book is going to help me out tremendously! Can't wait for that update!
