But the fact is, it's been sold elsewhere.

The list is over a year old, some parts even 9 years old, and has probably been spammed to death.

Downloaded this just out my professional curiosity, and clearly anyone buying this will be better off, scraping Google, for at least partly targeted data, this is ūp to 10 years old random data (some of top domains on full data report - altavista/netscape/geocities), lots of it is international data, specially INDIA, multiple sub-domain emails, that come from mail server logs, rest is random Hotmail/Yahoo etc. plain text emails, no lead, source info etc. And total unique email records after removing duplicates, on all files combined is ~92m, not 1.7b. There is no way of mailing data like this without spending a lot on properly cleaning it, and even when cleaned open/click/response rate on data like this will be horrible and wont turn any profit, and if you have that much to spend on cleaning random old data, you must be smart enough to find better data, that at least, if old and cheap, is niche targeted...

Purchased it a few days back. I am really disappointed.
As mentioned by @sendlerad - the mail is 99% duplicate.
Most of the data here is spammed to death and way too outdated.
In short - the fastest way to get your SMTP IPs blocked.
99% fake (duplicates) and 1% unclean spam traps.
I am surprised this got approved for sale.
As mentioned by @sendlerad - cleaning the 1% of mail list would cost you a fortune.
Really not worth it.

You have to understand, for a small $9.99, you are getting access to 1.7 Billion email selection. Yes. anyone with a little brain knows, no one can scrape this much of a data by 100% accuracy and sell for a little $9.99

Like you have said, there are some old emails + Millions of new emails which were scrapped after 2014 available under 100 of different segmented folders. We have clearly mentioned folder date for make it easy for our buyer to understand the email age. We had to change folder dates very easily. But we didn't do that, because we want buyer to see the age of those selected email sections.

Do you know any other place where you can get at least 10000 fresh, niche-based emails for $9.99 ?
