I've just redeemed the review copy for the "Master Package". Transaction: ********SS094673U
So I decided to use a page on my website that has recently been hit by the Google update that began last week. I've lots 2-3 positions across my money making keywords. Let's see whether or not these genuine posts will make a difference.
If my ranks from the update come back to normal before the OP has begun the service, I'll also keep everyone updated, so that we know what did what.
Edit: The most important factor of this service to review is whether or not the 10 sites that I will appear on are legitimate blogs from different entities and not PBNs. If they are, then possibly the OP has one of the best priced outreach services on BHW.
Time for my review. As you can tell, I ordered the biggest package.
Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with the service. I'm going to breakdown each site:
Site #1: Great site. This is actually a legitimate domain, with very relevant content on the topic. No problems here, it's a good guest post.
Site #2: Decorated PBN. All posts on there are for clients. On the advertise page, there are screenshots of the traffic and social stats, all those stats are fake. The contact form on the site doesn't even work, the short code appears, but there is no actual form. The site is also using a popular free WP theme.
Site #3: All recent content on this site are purchased posts. Topics are all over the place. On the "about" page, in the footer there are a bunch of sape links (payroll advance, notary public info, adult education site) etc.
Site #4: Poorly made PBN. All posts are client posts. Using a common free WP theme. Topics are all over the place.
Site #5: Same exact theme as Site #2. Same deal, decorated PBN. Topics all over the place, all posts are paid posts.
Site #6: Decorated PBN. The about page has the "This is an example of a Wordpress Page text". What kind of legitimate site doesn't even set up the about page properly?
Site #7: The site actually has a nice theme, but it's all cluttered with paid posts. The about pages and "write for us" page is literally composed of broken English.
Site #8: Legitimate site. No problems here.
Site #9: Same theme as Site #2 and Site #5...do I need to say more?
Site #10: Well decorated PBN. Good theme. Half the posts are non-paid. Other half half are paid.
Out of all these sites, only site #1 and site #7 are worth the money. I'm not even going to discuss the strength of the domains but as a quick glance from bulk importing them into Ahrefs, their DA was low 30's on average.
I understand that earlier the OP mentioned that you shouldn't expect to be placed on sites that have traffic at this price, and he's right. Paying $30-$40 per post likely won't get you on a site with much traffic, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted to appear on legitimate domains. I've purchased legitimate guest posts on BHW, and I also do my own outreach. I understand how much a good guest post is worth. I also know that I have successfully paid $30-$40 for a real guest post during my own reach. Do I end up on a site that gets much traffic anymore? No. But there are a lot of bloggers out there that blogged for ages, and had great content, and accrued great backlinks. Unfortunately for those site owners, since the site makes them very little money, they drop in activity and are willing to allow you to guest post for a low amount. I've successfully paid $30-$40 to these individuals that had 500+ pages of content on their site, in proper english, with a DA of 45+ on ahrefs, social media in the 5 figures, and traffic in the thousands monthly - so I know these sort of sites exist.
