My review:
I ordered an amazon fucsed site from Nichefox.
The samples looked pretty good, but I've ordered from our niche providers in the past that had great example sites and then when you got it the articles were junk. Design was okay..
Not the case with Nichefox.
For full disclosure, I received a discounted review copy..I was quoted a 1 1/2 week TAT. I received my site 16 days after ordering..but..in my opinion it was worth it.
Design:
The design itself is amazing..it looks like something a big site such as cnet would have...when I showed my friend who is someone that would be in my target audience, they thought I would have paid thousands for the site...
That said, in the code and plugins, I do notice that a visual editor was used to make the design. That doesn't bother me, but if it bothers you, you'll know that going in.
Articles:
Again, I feel good about this area, he had to send an article back to keep a quality standard, which was part of the extended TAT. I've purchased micro niche sites in the past at this price point that had terrible grammer and spelling..
In this case I found no glaring spelling and grammar issues..There was a couple small things in an article that I didn't feel were research enough, but that was one article out of the ones delivered..and it was a very small mistake.
Communication:
I was kept in the loop via email. My personality is very laid back, but if I go for extended periods without communication I have a short fuse..
I was quick to give him the appropriate info in a timely manner to respect his time, and he respected me by providing consistent updates.
When I first gave him FTP info, he had issues, so I used a autoinstaller in cPanel and sent him the WordPress credentials. He took it from there.
We had communication on:
May 8th(the day I ordered.)
May 9th
May 10th(at this point I had wordpress installed and provided him credentials, part of the delay was on me.)
May 16th(Content in progress, design was up.)
May 19th(Content was delayed.)
May 24th(Site launched)
So with that timeline I woke up on my birthday to a completed site.
He also provided a little bit extra for the extended TAT. Which was a nice bonus
The site is in a niche that I'm very comfortable with, when I came to him I told him I wanted to do an Amazon site, but I'd leave it up to him as far as the niche because I know things I'm good at like technology are very competitive.
I think he hit a nice sweet spot that's going to be very profitable for me. I look forward to doing business with him in the future.
Thanks for your work,
Ben
