Verified ownership of site. Have been sent details of advertising revenue although potential buyers MUST do their own due diligence on costs and revenue as part of the buying process.

Simple standard question, why are you selling something for 15k if it does 3k / month, normally when you sell a business you take the total profits from a 12 months period and do this x 5 or 10 ?

Hi,

I run a lot of websites and its hard to up keep the amount of sites i have under me with this being one of them. A dedicated webmaster can bring this to a new level and im willing to take a lower value then its worth to pass it on to a new owner. I put the minimum at 15k because i got an offer before the post even went live for that price, but its defiantly worth more so i adjusted it accordingly.

It seems to be a nice website with already a lot of users on it.

According to what you mentioned on your website, you already paid for a total amount of $15k ($1 for 1000 downloads) so it means that the website had 15,000,000 downloads right ? For a 8 months website it is a lot.

And why did you set a price at $75k 3 months ago ? Your website has been on sale for more than 3 months on others marketplaces. Need some info because daily revenue information and other details are changing from one marketplace to another. (You posted your website on sale on "websitebroker" marketplace)

Hi,

Thanks for the questions. To begin with, we offered higher rates to some initial uploaders to get the ball rolling. I will not disclose the higher rates as it irelevant. Those intital uploaders I gave higher rates too are still here today due to them being happy with the service and didnt mind me lowing the rate to $1/1000 downloads because it is still reltivley high compared to similar services.

For the $75k -- it was an initial attempt to sell by my partner when google gave an initial huge push in traffic/ranking for files where revenue did reflect a near 7k monthly revenue and we had someone offer us a fixed high CPM rate which didnt renew the following month.

The information provided is as it stands and its been consistent in these numbers since the fixed cpm rate we had offered ended.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Im new filehosting providers. I understand you get user by paying them for downloads, but where do you make the money if you only have minimal advertising?

you consider netherlands to be offshore?

anyway is the server (I guess dedicated?) managed or unmanaged?
Do you have unmetered traffic?
network port speed and download/upload bandwith rates?

generally would be nice you posting hardware details of server.

The current advertising covers paying out uploaders

I have sent you a Private Message with the details

Selling it would be totally stupid. Switch from your crappy ads to cpa offers and lock content, you'll make:
1) Your affiliates happy
2) A lot of ducking more cash.

I have runned a quite popular file host for 2 years and after checking your filehost and the details you gived I can say that the server costs can't be only $250 and the revenue is not $3k for the traffic you have.

Well thats your opinion and I can tell you my server costs is that much and i will provide proof to the interested buyer.
I have a direct relationship with my datacenter and I get very good rates as i have lots of other servers with them for other websites of mine. The buyer will also get the price i am getting and not have it increased once i sell it.
