I’m not sure what you mean by general blog? The site your post is on is a very niche specific site even down to its domain name, I can’t publicly say too much sadly.. the article too is niche related and your keyword is inserted naturally, I’m not sure what you were expecting.. a full featured post perhaps.
The post was approved and went live on the 19th so it’s clearly not a niche edit. I’m a little lost here on that part of your review to be very honest, please feel free to PM me and enlighten me. “Right now our keyword has been placed into this article and it's just 1 sentence and that's pretty much it” and “just links back to our website.” well yes that’s the whole point of an outreach post, a link back to your site within a relevant topical article, whether that be in a sentence at the end of a paragraph (like yours) or in the middle of a paragraph it makes no difference.. the goal is to look natural, this isn’t a full featured post where it’s centred around just you.. which is what I suspect you had anticipated.
We specifically choose that site as it does tie in with your niche perfectly, it’s not a general blog at all.. it’s topic is very specific even down to their domain name, so you’ve lost me there.
I’m glad you liked the metrics and everything else though and thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
