I just don't think the BHW market is receptive to this kind of offer Jeremy. It absolutely doesn't have to reflect on what you are providing to people. I don't see any issue with your model, and am moderately surprised there is a bit of negativity in here. I get all the psychology you're employing, and recognize this old school approach to getting people to take action. Of course it may not increase any particular customers success rate, but nobody moves forward while standing still. I just see that you have implemented a model that encourages people to take monetized actions for which you receive a portion of revenues spent. Since your website has relatively fixed costs - you stand to make a lot of money for providing a possible roadmap to success.

Good luck!

I've heard a lot about this course and had a few people I know ask me about it, mostly if it was legit or not. I'm going through the course now as I wanted to see how someone who it seems is much more successful than I am goes about creating his site. I'm just finishing up my Purple belt and I must say, this would be a great course for a person just starting out in IM. I needed another web host to spread some more sites around, so wasn't a big deal purchasing the hosting and the videos so far are basic to me but if you weren't experienced at setting up a WP site they are great. I haven't learned anything I didn't already know yet and hope in some of the latter courses I can pick up a couple pieces of new information.
I agree with davers, BHW is probably not the best place to try to sell this as most here know all of this stuff already, but again I think it's great for noobs.
Just my 2 cents..........

I am very happy and proud to announce my new project...To date I have sold over 25,000 units of my 2 training products (over ten million dollars worth) focused on educating people on how to make money online... this blew me away - less than 1% of the people that purchased these products ever logged in more than 3 times....So I wanted to do something crazy.

Jeremy, With all due respect, don't you think there is a issue with your products/Internet Marketing industry(IM) under the pretense your stats are correct (<1% login 3+ times, in other words nobody is using your products, for that matter any products). Not looking to point fingers, but trying to draw attention to the fact that the more this happens in IM, the greater the chance people will say that IM is just a scam. Again NOT calling you or anybody else a scammer , just looking to avoid more regulation and people feeling like they got taken "advantage of". You could trade some of those million of dollars for having a greater impact on the people you serve, especially those in remote parts of the world.

My feeling is any individual (with a computer & internet connection) can create enough value to feed themselves and their family. This transcends both geographic and demographic boundaries. No other time has this been more true. Do you and I have the obligation to help others do this? Maybe, maybe not. Just having the opportunity is pretty dam incredible. I do give help to people who ask and always look to maximize my impact.

Just so you know, we've met (at a conference) and you seem like a great guy. Forget about doing something crazy and look to doing something truly incredible. Do to IM, what WordPress did to/for blogging, What Mozilla did to Browsing, ETC..

IF you want/need my help PM me, if you "got this", then be bigger than this type of "opportunity" and the rest of the IM community.

If you want my help, I can/will. You will be blown away.

Respectfully.

I signed up and got my first $1 ever in the internet(was ecstatic, yay to me).. but when I came to the bluehost part, I was totally put off. I'm a student from a 3rd world country, struggling to make ends meet in a foreign european country.

I can put in the efforts.. trust me but I just can't really afford to fork out any cash right now. If this can be bypass, Not only me but many people would be willing to actually give it a shot.

Just my 2cents.

bro you got 1 million dolla, please send me 10k i need it for my startup :)

I wonder how this could get into BHW newsletter as Edditors Pick.
Shoemoney does not give a f... about this thread anymore.
After a week i still did not get my $1. Not that i would care, but it just means that its buggy.
My request about deleting my account was still not fulfilled...

So the only reason this shit could in the newsletter is that its paid.

Why can't we use our own hosting. Bluehost is $6.95 a month which expands to over $10 with currency exchange. I understand that they also want a 1year contract! This is a totally false statement: "Again - no strings attached. I never take $1 from you." He DOES take if from us in commissions from the various companies he's involved with. I joined but backed out when I read the deceitful statements being made. Why couldn't everyone be upfront about the "third parties" that are going to make him a lot of money. I was shocked and disappointed that what I had always considered to be an honest site was not better than the "guru's" who could suck newbies dry with their lies and misinformation. As a final note, how is it honourable to give $1.00 for an email address and then: "he force us to sign to blue host to carry on." Glad I don't sell my address that cheaply.

Basically, you are paying for the training via the commissions. None of these gurus give anything away for free lol
If you learn something then it might be OK, but I doubt you will learn anything that hasn't been posted on BHW before.
Would love to hear some reviews of people that have been going through the stages.

"After you have completed the groundwork, (and been paid to do it), you graduate to the ninja training where we take it up a notch."

What does that cost, and all the other "notches" after?

Members have already stated that the initial lessons are newbie level which should have been explained before trapping people into unwanted 3rd party deals.

"Make Your First Dollar Online In Less Than 5 minutes" Implies that one is going to instantly learn to make money from the Internet when, in fact, its just, a sprat to catch a mackerel. Ah! Fishy, fishes come to my nice bait. This was probably the worse thing that BHW allowed to be published - members will be so much more cautious when recommendations are made in the future

. . . . . This gets worse and worse and If I get banned for being outspoken, so be it!

country not allowed. You could have spared us the trouble by posting the countries you accept to your service

I am actually wondering how bluehost would feel about this set up. Offering $1 in an attempt to secure an affiliate sign up seems like an incentive scheme to me.

From Bluehost:

RPfOOPa

You could argue that because the $1 is for a previous part of the course it's not an incentive but others may see it differently when you have no choice but to use BH to be able to continue.

Whichever way you look at it this whole "Earn your 1st $ online while making me $$$$$$" type of scheme is pure bullshit. It appears the OP has gone very quiet now though.

Avoiding this crap is why most of us come to BHW, it looks like it came right out of Warrior Forum. This is really the first Marketplace thread I've seen that I can honestly say that about. It's a bitter sweet feeling. I seriously hope this isn't going to become the norm

Maybe one of the guy "you are paying" is a broke father who is struggling to feed his child. Maybe he truly believes you can change things.

When you need to sell fake dreams for living, you aren't a man anymore.

And where is this guy who sold millions? Vanished? Really concerned with what kind of threads are being approved... Shouldn't the mods at least inquire "where's the monetization dude?", before knowing that NO ONE is giving out any free info or money...

... and when the mods know where the creator is earning, they should display it in the approval post that "BST creator 'may' earn affiliate commissions in the backend"

Really need some real moderating...
