I thought buying domains from GoDaddy auctions was a no no? I'm interested in two domains out of that list but I heard that guys go on godaddy and send extortion emails to people asking for money to keep their domains private or they will be forwarded to various members at Google. Can someone elaborate on this?

Godaddy is the best place to get domains from because they are the largest registrar. We have been auctioning our domains on Godaddy TDNAM for over 2 years now and have never encountered anything like that.
