I bought an authority website from NapsteR. The domain was 6 years old with a SEOMOZ Authority 14. The layout and articles are good and meant as a foundation for you to improve upon. The Seophd Team has been very helpful, don't know it if was NapsteR himself I was emailing with but he/they responed to all my stupid questions in a nice and friendly way. So far so good!

As promised, here are some screenshots!!! More than 90% of websites ranked in top 50 without any SEO at all. I cant post screenshots for all, so just posting a few here.

Ok guys, got my website a few days ago, and it's pretty spiffy. More than I expected to be honest.
Report: 5/5 Sweet, simple, and to the point. Can't really ask for more.
Transfer: 5/5 I had some issues personally transferring it over but they fixed it for me right away. I did transfer it myself even though they said they could do it for me. (i wanted to learn and they had instructions delivered)
Content: 4/5 Great for the price really, and even though their not native writers they did a pretty good job. Definitely readable and with a little tweaking can be A+ content.
TaT: 5/5 They had a huge list of orders so I expected a delay. I did however have a translation issue with one of the staff making it take a little longer. I tend to babble and hope people understand me, it did get situated quickly and professionally though.
Design: Awesome, premium wordpress theme with a bunch of plugins to help it move along.
Domain: 9+ year old domain and SUPER brand able. Honestly I have no idea how someone else didn't have it... It's so obvious....

How would this work if I want to sell physical items (fashion related) on my WP site but use IM to drive traffic there? If this is up your alley, do you have a relevant sample?

You wont be getting site like this for 289$. I will give you a fresh website that has potential to reach this level with minimum work. This website has more than 100 articles and seo done for 6 months. So I hope it clears your "math" doubt. Let me know if you have any questions.
