They appear to be using a system called Authority Index (AI) as opposed to the now dead PageRank. AI is basically Moz's Domain Authority (DA) 1-100 score divided by 5, so in essence I assume its a 1-20 DA based score system.

This service is pretty damn good.

For context, I've been using this service for over two months. In that time, I've made over 600 posts on their blog network spread over 6 different projects, paid for their premium membership, and got some good rankings. How good? Literally every single keyword I am trying to rank has made it on the first or second page, and they are still climbing.

What I like about this network is that their standards are much higher than others. For starters, they won't accept user sites into their network unless it looks legit (e.g. no sample pages, each site must have an author pic uploaded, categories, no default themes, etc.)

Next, before a post is published, it goes through a manual review. You might find this extremely annoying but it keeps a lot of garbage shit from being posted unlike other blog networks (if a blog network doesn't do this it's shit).

The sites are not spammed to death because of their above average standards. To the trained eye, one can still tell that a site from their network is part of a public blog network but honestly, if I was comparing the sites found in this network to some of the link building services being sold here, it's on par - with the benefit that you have replenishing daily quota so technically you can have unlimited posts if you're patient enough.

For anyone who doesn't have the budget for their own private blog network, I highly recommend adding one or two sites into their network and taking advantage of its power.

I signed up for this service two weeks ago and used my trial quota until now (7 posts).


Before I started I had an issue with user account registration (no confirmation email), so I tested their helpdesk. They respond really fast, even though the actual solution took a few days.


Web GUI is simple and very easy to use. Each post is manually reviewed (takes only a few hours) - I had several rejections, they really insist on a good post quality for their sites. I appreciate that, because I don't want my posts together with spammy articles and get penalized.


At this moment it is too soon to comment on the impact on my rankings - only two posts have been recently indexed by google. But quickly checking those two sites they look legit. I will write more about ranking effects in a month or two.


I'm going to continue using this service (also want to try purchasing content from them) and I recommend it to others as well.

We are using our own metrics now, It's called AI(Authority Index). Authority Index is based on Domain Authority, Trust Flow, Home Page Authority and Relevancy. The factor calculates very closely to Page Rank.

Yes, putting it simply most of the times if you simply devide DA/5 you will get the AI. But the formula is more complex than simply that.

LinkAuthority is really good, but it's a pity there are no niche categories, that would make it the BEST.
