I personally got screwed because I purchased it right before the change and by that time refund period expired. I can't say I should blame Sasha, his business acumen is stand up compared to people like that Clyde character (sedemon) all of you dopes used to ejaculate over... Sasha forgive me for asking, admittedly I'm new to the scraping game but being that this seems to be altogether different from what I purchased (what is this chrome extension really doing for me that custom audiences won't and since some of your customers are amateur at this like myself would you mind putting out an updated pdf tutorial/video explaining how I can use this effectively? You could've done that already - this is an impromptu post. Again, I don't blame you for the outcome, we know the risks. Guys we're dealing with a multi billion dollar big brother social network, did you really buy this thinking Sasha could always be one step ahead of the Zuk?
Sasha it's nice that you're doing your best to make it up, I respect that. But might I suggest you consider really sweetening the pot by coming up with something bigger and badder and maybe giving it to guys like me for free to beta test? That would go a long way in blackhat land imho. peace

OK HERE IT IS.....

I purchased Social Lead Freak (SLF) the other day to see what Sashas competitor was equipped with. Long story short, it's a complete waste of money and time. The standalone software can scrape pages and open groups HOWEVER....and this is very important to note, it cannot convert the UIDs to Facebook emails, which renders the program completely useless!

Now the owner (Ali G.) also released a Chrome extension to counter this, HOWEVER....it can only scrape closed/open groups. Now, when you want to scrape pages, you have to click on every single post on your page and scrape the likes from that particular post until all posts have been scraped on that particular page. The extension WILL NOT scrape the entire page for likes, comments, and shares. As you can imagine, this will take a TON of time to scrape pages that normally took us a few minutes to scrape.

CONCLUSION - So SLG is not the only one having this problem. Sasha is right in the fact that this is a FACEBOOK problem and not a software issue. If you really need to scrape pages these days, your going to have to hire a VA to go through your target pages and have them click on every single post, use the extension to scrape the likes, etc, etc.

I predict the first person to come up with a REAL fix to this scraping predicament will be a VERY wealthy person.

I really don't see what all the bitching/complaining is about in this thread. Even with the plugin, this software gives you the ability to scrape active & laser targeted ID's from groups and pages and the amount of money you make with it is only limited by your imagination. Who cares if you have to go thru the fanpage manually and extract ids from each post, If that's too hard for you just outsource it to a worker in the phillipines or get a local high school student to do it. Sasha could have been one of those many developers who abandoned their software once changes occured, but instead of doing that, he/she found a workaround and released a new software that can still produce amazing results for those who use it with intelligence and creativity.

do you have searching tips for the new facebook search? as it seems they are rolling out a new search syntax -
while some of my users can still do searches like you guidelines (intersections, people who 123....) - all my new users (US, English US) can no longer use these searches but a new syntax with the q=bbb & type=aaa

Any tips related to that will be appreciated! (I want to perform something like "People who like page name "123" and lives at US...")

thank you so much for updating to 5.0... whatever you did, it works so much better than 4. The previous one was pretty slow and kept crashing my browser but now I was able to get like 20k ultra targetted leads in <5 mins. It's as good as before the facebook api change now.

I tried to Scrap from a Event But its not Scraping.

Its just scraped 295 from 28681... This is totally Worthless. I bought it 20 days ago, Its not working. I already lost my one account also. This was my 2nd time use but I did get any good things with it. Fix it or Refund me. I know, You have 15 Days Crappy Policy but I think 5 days will not a Big Deal to Refund where your Software is not working. So Fix it or Refund me.
