Uhm.. I purchased, installed on a review site I have... Activated the license... Checked the front end of the site and all affiliate links have been deleted, all images with affiliate links have been removed... I think this was automated re-writing, not something that requires manual work to setup each affiliate link. I can just use a URL shortener like yourls for that... I tried adding one manual link, added the short code in the place of the affiliate link, still doesn't show up... Not sure what to do to get this to work "automatically" as you've suggested it will... Also, any way to customize the new rewritten URLs?

Just tried inserting the shortcode manually in the place of another link and it still didn't work... What's the deal?

Support is given via the support email address given in the email that you received which also contained your DL links. It's also in the user guide. There could be a number of reasons for this but this thread isn't used for support.

Can you email the support email address and just quote your BHW user name. Once the issue has been resolved I'll update the thread here otherwise the thread has posts stating a problem with the plugin but there's nothing about it being resolved so it gives a very one sided story.

Thanks,

Shez

Is this plugin still available and doing what is supposed to do? PM please, would like to ask few things... Thank you

So far I have not heard from you via PM or email to deal with this issue for you. I have replied to your post (as above) asking you to email support or PM me.

Yes, the plugin is still available, the thread is still live and the buy buttons work. As for it doing what it's supposed to do, yes, it always has done.

All pre-sales are dealt with on this thread so that others can read the questions and answers. Responding to sales questions via PM means that we get asked the same question by numerous members and it's not a very efficient way of dealing with questions.

Thanks,

Shez

Hi shezboy. I've some questions before buying -

1. Does WP LN work with the links from non-content area - such like links from footer and widgets?
2. Will it slow down my websites if I hide three to four links on each post or page?
3. Does it work with WooCommerce affiliate products?

Thanks!

Hi,

1. The plugin will automatically hide links that are inside the post/page content area - the content that you entered in to the text box editor when you created that page post. For footer and widget links you use the shortcode option of the plugin. You create your hyperlink in the plugins control panel and then use a shortcode to use that link in your footer or widgets etc.

2. It won't slow you page. In it's basic form the page loads all of your content instantly apart from anything that is a hyperlink on the page. The plugin detects if the visitor is a bot or human and in less than one second it then loads the links on the page. It won't slow the site speed down or the page loading times. Those are unaffected and the loading time of the content being controlled by the plugin is so quick that it won't be noticed by your site visitors regardless of how many links you have on the page.

3. It should work with all links. If you have links that are being controlled and placed by another plugin which are usually loaded as separate content to the page then you will need to use the shortcode option in the WP Link Ninja plugin. Again, you would create your link content in the WP Link Ninja control panel and then add the shortcode that the plugin gives you what ever plugin you're using to place links in your content.

Thanks,

Shez

Just purchased. How do we know if the links within posts/pages are working properly?

After activating the license of the plugin you would visit your website as normal and you'll see the links in your content as you'd expect.

Then go to http://www.evolvedwebsites.com.au/googlebot/ and enter the the URL of the page on your website that you just viewed. This site will show you what the Google Bot sees. From the results that it shows you you'll notice all of your links missing from your content, meaning that Google can no longer see those links.

Thanks. How do we get it to work with images/banner in widgets. I tried using the short codes but still seeing them on the other site.

It works exactly by using short codes. In your welcome email, the one that has your license key, it gave the email address for contacting support. Please send support an email and we'll walk you through it.

What makes this -- technically -- different from normal .htaccess ruled and mod-rewrite? I can't find any specific info here on how the links are "hidden", just a sales pitch.

With an .htaccess mod-rewrite is it possible to instantly hide all of the links in your sites content from Google?

I ask as I'm unaware how you would use that method to hide links from Google's 'eyes' but still have them visible and working for human visitors and be able to apply it to every link within your sites content.

And you're right, in the sales copy I didn't go in to the technical details of how the plugin does what it does. I explained what it does and showed exactly what it does. I'm not in the business of giving away the technique used for the plugin to do what it does. That would just be useful to competitors.

Thanks,

Michael

With a rewrite you can link to an internal page which tou noimdex and 301/302 it to the offer. E.g. it will be an internal link for practical purposes.

I'm just curious, as many people claim to hide links in JS/AJAX etc. -- which Google reads fine.

Ah I see. But with this plugin you can link to any internal page or any external site without having to mess with .htaccess files, code and 301 etc. With the plugin it instantly hides all of the site hyperlinks whether that is a text or image link. And if you want to, you can white list domains of external sites that you DO what Google seeing you link out to.

I'm not so sure all of that can be achieved with .htaccess and 301's etc. And if it can, I bet it'd be a pain in the backside to make it so every current and future link on the blog is hidden.

Can you send me a sample link where your plugin is active?

Hey Shez, any discounts still working for this? Interested in giving it try
Thanks!
