The addons do not apply to Wordpress sites only - they are there for any other type of sites as well. A standard Linux VPS with no addons (a control panel is recommended for users new to Linux, though) should be sufficient to run any kind of website. However, requirements vary from one script to another, so it's impossible to know for sure - if you have a specific script in mind, please open a ticket and we'll go through requirements for you and let you know whether the VPS can run it, or not.
No worries. I'm very impressed with your speed of response right here.
Opps. I just edited my initial post and you replied before I manage to submit edit.
What are the "available addons" options for Linux VPS? Are they necessary for a Wordpress website? Do let me know as I do not wish to be left out of good functions that might be applicable for my website or assist me with better convenience.
Which OS do you recommend for a first time user? There are too many options and variations for me to pick.
