Do free domains come on the VPS orders, or just the cheaper hosting plans?

Hey Shark servers, so far the reviews have been great for you guys. I am looking for a No-DMCA Windows VPS which is also managed with phone support always available. But the problem is I can only pay via CreditCard, dont have any paypal. Iam looking to buy the vps right now, also tried calling your number but the call never gets through. Looking forward to your quick update, thank you

Any VPS on annual payment terms also qualify for a free domain. However, since not everybody who has a VPS needs a domain (some only run software that does not require a domain), please request the domain via a support ticket after your VPS is activated.

You should be able to pay with credit/debit card via PayPal without having to create a PayPal account.

Windows VPS Bandwidth is 100Mbps. Competitors giving 1Gbps. Any say?
How to activate VPS without domain as entering domain name is a required field.

Thanks for your questions.
Competitors offering 1Gbps usually have monthly bandwidth limits - we don't. If you really need to have 1Gbps, we can offer that, but it's going to be priced accordingly. Also, those offers are mostly for USA-based locations, which, in general, have lower bandwidth costs for the providers, so they can afford to offer such speed. We're offering a specialized, offshore service, and to be able to provide quality service at low prices, there is this limit in place (at least at this time).

As for your second question, what you're referring to is "hostname" - it's basically the name of the server. You can enter anything there.

Planning to order this tonight. By when can it be all setup? I read some earlier posts stating that it took days to be set up...

Only dedicated servers take days to setup, although most are setup on the same day.

American Express prepaid do not work.

We accept credit/debit cards via PayPal, and you shouldn't even need a PayPal account to use a card. Unfortunately, I can't comment on whether PayPal processes American Express payments, or not. We also accept Skrill (formerly Moneybookers), Bitcoin and bank transfer (UK only). We're open to suggestions, so if you'd like to see other payment methods, please let us know.

Hi it says in the packages that you have unmetered bandwidth but in the tos it says it has limited traffic. Can you please elaborate on this? Also any chance of paying via bitcoin?

Hi, and thanks for your question. The ToS says "All accounts have limited traffic usage, unless specified otherwise". The shared hosting and dedicated server packages don't have a bandwidth limit, while VPS has. It's mainly in place to prevent abuse, so if there's a legitimate reason why you'd need higher bandwidth (the 5TB per month is more than enough for 99% of users), please open a support ticket and we'll remove that limit.

Regarding Bitcoin - yes, we accept it

Hi
windows #3 vs. windows SSD #3 - the second one only necessary if there is lots of write and read to the hard disc? Your offer says unmetered bandwith - does that mean unlimited bandwidth? (sorry not native English)

thx

SSD would be a better choice if you require faster reads/writes, so it's most useful if you have large MySQL databases with constantly changing data in them. Otherwise, the standard VPS plans should suffice, though you can always upgrade to SSD at a later time.

Regarding bandwidth - there is no such thing as 'unlimited' (same with disk space) - bandwidth is not infinite - not for us, not for clients, or anyone else. The correct term is 'unmetered', which means that you can use as much bandwidth per month as you wish - we don't count it.

Correct - anything over 1GB would cost $15 to transfer due to the work involved checking if everything is working properly. For larger sites, it's something that takes time.

You can provide either a download link, or login details to the account - your choice.
