I see, they are not cheap as far I see, why are they charging such high prices?
Maybe the wrong place to ask, Thinking again, Would Forum generator work with any other hosting service or solidboxes service Only??

I suppose they are a bit high. However unlike the other shared hosting you won't be on a box with 300 other people.
Just 19. I'm only putting 20 people on a box. So it covers costs, then moving on to the next box. Even though troph himself said I could put a lot more on that box I'm not

Its your choice however. Support from olden will be badass even if you go to another host and he'll do all he can to help make sure it works.

i had a look at the box earlier, i gotta say, i told wired to put more users on the box but was met with a refusal, seriously, the performance you will get hosting on solidboxes is insane, you wont have any issues at all, i personally specd the box out originally and its a beast to begin with and its only getting 20 dammed users put on it... my jaw dropped earlier when i got told that

fwiw i run a box of a lower spec with about 100 users on it and i intend to put twice that many on it... highly recommend solidboxes, might be more than the competition but there is a reason for it

I emailed support with no reply yet and in the mean time managed to sort out my problem myself. Found that i fogot to save the darn cron tab when i added it.

I cant access the support forum and have already send the paypal details.

How do i know which version of FG i have, it does not mention it anywhere in admin panel, if it does apologies, if now then would be a good idea to include the version number in the admin panel

I downloaded a copy yesterday and got it set up but 90% of he post is totally unrelated to the keywords.
And no i am using short keywords not long keywords, meaning i don't use long keywords like : big fat black cat, i only use black cat, but the content that is posted is about F_ckin politics, religeon and other crap, and totally unrelated to the black cat keyword

Have you tried turning the Keyword Matching setting in the Custom Configuration option panel to Strict? That will probably take care of your problem unless the keywords that you're choosing are too general or have multiple meanings.

Uhhmm no sorry i just found the Keyword Matching setting and turned it on. I just had it set to slowest posting. Strange i did not notice that setting, i must have fast forwareded the video over that part,

ARRRRRRRGGGG -- I just fcuked up by click ing on the : Remove Forum Generator's Tables from phpBB Database, i deleted well it seems all keywords and settings

I think i will delete the domain account and reinstall from scartch, maybe a good idea to get rid of those previous crappy post.

I guess this is what u call trail and error, i sure as hell wont be clicking on ; Remove Forum Generator's Tables from phpBB Database, the next time round

i just wana say i am using this script in my 4 forum and this is greeeeeeeeeat script.

i don;t know how this work cguru: but this is working fine. My all forum fill with new topics and members. All are looking genuine no crap copy of other.

Looks like a VERY busy thread. I have a question regarding hosting. I'm using cloud hosting (same as Amazon EC2)... this is shared. Do I need a dedicated server for this? Also, do you have a very simple step-by-step instruction for rookies like me :|

There are step-by-step video instructions for cPanel, but if you're not using cPanel hosting, you'll have to install phpBB3 on your own. I can't say whether or not your hosting will work. Some Amazon EC2 AMI's will work, some won't.
