Just want to post some success stats after buying and using Forum Generator..for those of you that have doubts!

I've developed 3 full forum websites:

Site 1: Registered: 2009-04-09 - Actually took a while for me to get it going, but finally set it up and started posting April 28. Today May 28 - PR4 and decent visitors. Not monetized yet.. Only using a couple of links. New registrations outside of the automated. Using the latest version.

Site 2: Registered April 29 - Used one of the Social Link Submissions here on the forum for $7. After the second day of social submissions: 204 vistors and in May averaging over 200 visitors a day. Sales from Ebay etc.. Using the latest version.

Site 3: Not worth mentioning because its waiting on the new software update. It is using the original first version. NO sales and not much activity.

I'm very happy with my purchase and the fact that it is targeted and it takes no time to get real forum users and unique content!! Very nice for flipping!

No software can keep out all irrelavant post. With this in mind, I have a question. Would it be more beneficial to leave the irrelavant post in once scraped or would it be better to delete them.

The choice is entirely yours. If I was running a forum that I thought people might eventually use, then I'd be more inclined to spend time cleaning up irrelevant posts. If it was merely for SEO purposes, then I'd probably leave them in. If you're running the new 1.1b version of FG and are choosing your keywords carefully, it shouldn't be too much of an issue, though we certainly still see irrelevant posts from time-to-time.

I'd like to get some feedback from other FG users. So far the script is working exactly as advertised, so I'm happy about that. I've also moved up from being unranked to a PR 0 with very little link building to the forum and it's only been, what, a few weeks?

One thing that I can't figure out is why G isn't counting the backl*nks to my flagship.

What are others experience?

So I see that its a forum generator, would I add the script to my individual sites, if so...
is there a different that pops up on the main site that appears active or is this independent of my main site...very confused but interested in purchasing it, maybe an example of one of your sites that include this would be helpful for me to view

You can do whatever you want with the script. FG doesn't necessarily involve a method, though it could certainly be used in a methodical manner. Getting creative is your best bet. I've sent you a demo link via PM.

My question.
Currently I installed it on www.vd9.org
Now, I search keywords as webmasters and edit link as - www.vd9.org.
Here my question goes,
If i add more forum categories like - payment processing, webhosting, search engines,
how to edit the linnks in the edit link option?
please help me out.

You'll want to add keywords to those other sections and then you can click "Select All" for that section and add different links. Alternatively, you could also click each keyword and edit each that way.

Yes, but we're working on adding requested features to the phpBB 3 version before moving on.

Well you need to promote it...Olden said earlier in the thread...

Yeah, you will definitely find some duplicate content on G, but if you plan on using your forum alone, you will need to "promote it" (AutoPligg it, link to it from auto-blogs, etc) just as you would any other site. You might want to consider loading up a few different instances of Forum Generator. One can be the recipient and money site and the others could be the inbound link generators. Doing promotion on either of the two link generation forums will then increase their ability to boost up the rankings of your money forum. You've got a lot of different options here in terms of how to scale and monetize with Forum Generator. This is definitely not a one-trick pony.

I have a few sites up and my biggest now has over 6,500 real members. You need to treat this like a brand new site and promote it as much as you can. Use Social networks, auto Pligg xrummer whatever...This tool helps you look like a "authority forum" in your niche from day one but like any other site you won't get visitors unless you tell people about it.

Just thought I would add my 2c.

A few weeks ago, I was running a forum with a few mates and one of them had FG. He set it up to run and man that software is powerful. We were listed pretty high in the SERPS for some nice keywords after a few days.

Defitneley a powerful tool to have at your disposal.
