This could be just the thing that I'm needing for a certain whitehat site that's needing a boot up the arse in terms of it's ranking.

That would be using the Web 2.0 as a buffer if you intend to pass the link juice back, with Parasites you are actually trying to rank the Parasite page by piggy backing off the Authority of the root domain which can withstand and thrives on spam.. then you can link to a product/site or what ever on that page. But you're talking about buffers and using these as tier 2 as you wish to pass the link juice to your money site, I would recommend using more than one, will shoot you our coupon now!
