You won't really know until you get testing man. I would say get the diversity to the site first before introducing any sape links. Have not seen the sandbox effect parasites perhaps because of their already established authority.

Yeah if you are planning to use sape then yes you will need the diversity even with parasites.. otherwise the sape links will stick out like a sore thumb. Aged domains with a little authority behind them will always work better as they can take more of hammering than a brand new domain.. hence the use on parasites.
