Hi Greg,

I read through the thread. I have a few questions:

1. Is this system good for a new site? Would you expect different results than if used on an aged site?
2. Would this be safe for a totally clean whitehat site that built for the long-haul? I know you like long-term authority sites but want to clarify.
3. I have identified a niche and want to do an experiment where I do 2 sites - 1 of them will be sort of classic tiered linking, very safe and the other will be a little spammier on the backlink side. Would you use this on the classic site or both?
4. Can I provide handwritten content?
5. How would you use GSA in conjunction with your service? Would you?
6. Same question, but FCSNetworker.

Too many questions?

I have a few questions:

1. Is this system good for a new site? Would you expect different results than if used on an aged site?

Absolutely it is good for a new site and the system actually gives you options to tell us if you have a new site so that the linking would be different. Yes, you will have different results as a new site and an aged site are going to react differently no matter what you do.

2. Would this be safe for a totally clean whitehat site that built for the long-haul? I know you like long-term authority sites but want to clarify.

I'm 99% WH and this was built based on what I do for my sites. I do dabble in the BH world when I see an opportunity to make a fast buck on a site but, in general, I believe that is a poor business model and would never offer a BH service as I think that propagates a negative thought process that is all too often associated with internet marketing.

3. I have identified a niche and want to do an experiment where I do 2 sites - 1 of them will be sort of classic tiered linking, very safe and the other will be a little spammier on the backlink side. Would you use this on the classic site or both?

Both.

4. Can I provide handwritten content?

Sure you can, I would not bother but you absolutely can. There is actually an option to have that done for you in the system also.

5. How would you use GSA in conjunction with your service? Would you?

You could hit some of your links with GSA if you wanted; I'm sure some guys have been doing that and I'll even do some R&D and implement that on a few sites to see the effects.

6. Same question, but FCSNetworker.

I'm not very familiar with FSCNetworker; about 7 - 8 months ago or so I tried it out but did not spend the requisite amount of time on it so I can't give you an honest answer.

Too many questions?

Funny, not at all... glad you asked them!

not sure how I missed this thread.

I'll be honest, I have a new ecom store and have bought 2 or 3 small services for it but cash is tight so would love to able to rank it myself.

How difficult is this to use? Do I need to spend hours and hours learning it?

I tried UD before and to be honest it wasn't worth the headache of learning it so I just bought services instead lol.

Also is this ok to use on a real business site?

If it takes you more than 2 minutes to set up the campaign, you stopped for a cup of coffee and to pat a dog on the head. The video above gives you a good idea of the set up time. That was done in real time.

I'm no genius and thus Kevin set it up for guys like me to be able to use when he coded it for us.

Absolutely, it is good for any kind of site that you want to rank in Google... ANY kind at all.

I signed up last night and created 4 campaigns in about 10 minutes. Each campaign is promoting a different site. The sites range from brand new sites, local services, established sites. So far the I am very impressed with the interface and will provide a ranking report in about 6 weeks.

Sounds good.

If I setup using the trial version and then sign up will the campaign carry over?

Thanks for your quick reply

It sure will!

Just signed up and setup a campaign.

A bit confused is this software or an seo package lol.

It is a software platform that was developed to make SEO easy so more of a hybrid than anything else.

What matters is not the classification as much as the results and I am sure you'll love them!

Ok cool!

Sorry for so many questions I think my brain is fried today.

So I just setup the campaign (which I have done) and that's it ya?

Cheers

Hi BTB,

I've got two simple questions (seems that Imma stupiak!) :

1. If I signed up for a 7/7 Trial for Small Biz. but at the end of the day, decided to proceed with the Basic package, is it possible to downgrade and will you fault me? :(

2. As for the 200 Limited Users, does it affect each Service Plans or collectively as a whole? If most users purchase the most basic plan, won't allocation of resources be in wastage form?

Hey, good luck to your sales anyway ... +1 (Paid) Trial for ya!

Warmest Regards,
Commoner

Simple.

Fast.

Effective.

How effective/safe is your service for local sites? Particularly, for the real estate niche?

Also, do you allow link building aside from your service to be built as well or do you prohibit that? And if not, does your bad link removal extend toall links and not just the links built by your team?

I do a lot of Local SEO, A LOT, and use it for that all the time. Very effective and very safe.

Also, do you allow link building aside from your service to be built as well or do you prohibit that?

No, we have no issue you building other links as well.

And if not, does your bad link removal extend to all links and not just the links built by your team?

If you have bad links built by someone else, I can't take responsibility for that... especially with all the black hat linkbuilding that goes on around here.

All that stuff is fine for your churn and burn guys but will only last so long as to ranking and you get a ton of garbage links in them and that is what you want... a bunch of links to rank fast but you know it will fall fast. Our business model is to offer backlinking that ranks and stays ranking... always has been since the very beginning 4 and a half years ago.

Do you recommend combining these with a high pr network for medium competition words or is there usually enough in them to keep ranking as the months go on?

There are clients that use only this for ranking their sites as it is pretty diverse. Also there is really no exact way to give you a proper answer either as onsite SEO has a bunch to do with ranking a site, but to answer you as best I can, it has been done and is currently being done so it is possible.

Thanks for answering my early set of questions. I have a few others - do you prefer I ask them here? Can I skype you? I don't want to hijack your thread.

You can ask them here; that is probably better as I am sure if you have them so do others.

Thanks BTB. BTW, I am following your journey thread closely and have tweaked some of my methods on a new project based on what I have learned there. I am very much aligned with your way of thinking on these things. So here are some follow up questions, bearing in mind that these are sites built to be long-term earners.

1. On a new site on a new domain, can I/should I start this service before the site is really live - maybe just a few pages as placeholders? Or is it better to wait until I have some content?
2. Similarly, is the optimum strategy to push the links at the index page or targeted inner pages?
3. If inner pages, how many links per page? Or try and push a single page?
4. I understand that these could be use to point to a parasite, but it seems like blunter instruments might be better for that. This seems like it should be used to go directly at the money site. True? False? Somewhere in between?
5. I asked earlier if I could provide hand written content and you replied yes, but not necessary. Why? In your journey thread you make the point that "at this point" you are not pointing any pages with spun content at your site. I get that, but am I then missing something in your answer here?
6. If I end the subscription at some point are the links removed?
7. I have to ask this again - for a site that is whiter than lily white - is the program safe? I have sites all along the color spectrum, I just need to be sure about what tools should be used where.

Thanks. And thanks for the journey thread too. Very helpful.

1. On a new site on a new domain, can I/should I start this service before the site is really live - maybe just a few pages as placeholders? Or is it better to wait until I have some content?

I'd like the money but you should hold off and get some content on that site... you would be much better off doing that.

2. Similarly, is the optimum strategy to push the links at the index page or targeted inner pages?

Inner pages FTW for sure... send very little to your root/index page. I send a few links there to say "Hello" and then almost never again.

3. If inner pages, how many links per page? Or try and push a single page?

There is no # I can give for how many as every page, KW, site is different but spread the love amongst all your inner pages in a random chaotic way.

4. I understand that these could be use to point to a parasite, but it seems like blunter instruments might be better for that. This seems like it should be used to go directly at the money site. True? False? Somewhere in between?

I'm a fan of parasite pages from authority sites, I wrote about them here before they became a topic of discussion here on my blog but you want to mix that up as well.

5. I asked earlier if I could provide hand written content and you replied yes, but not necessary. Why? In your journey thread you make the point that "at this point" you are not pointing any pages with spun content at your site. I get that, but am I then missing something in your answer here?

I do send spun content to my sites; in fact I do it more often than most. I am using as few services in that thread as possible while I am building that site, and sharing that journey, so almost anyone can replicate it without spending a bunch of cash. Plus I don't want that thread to turn into me pitching my products or services, I want to show that a guy off the street can take 50.00 and build a huge site using elbow grease.

6. If I end the subscription at some point are the links removed?

Not unless you request it. We don't delete links unless it is requested and, even then, I offer to look at a client's overall backlinking infrastructure before deleting them to help them not make a decision that is more harmful than helpful.

7. I have to ask this again - for a site that is whiter than lily white - is the program safe?

I'm on a BH site but the only thing that is black about how I build sites is the color of the font on my pages. It is as safe as having Officer Friendly visit your child in elementary school.
