its impossible to loose your rank with 10 backlinks only or 100.You need mass link building to drop your seps which is called neg seo.

I am not misleading anybody and i know what i am talking about. I have seen websites losing rank bec of mass spam. And even than sometimes sites come back even stronger. Only way these links could damage a site is google busts the network and i really think google wouldn't go after for blog networks with 10 domains and less than 25 obl. The other way it would hurt rankings if you got 10 realllllyyy awful links like exploit sites but still i don't think thats not enough to kill a website. If it was that easy everydody would build a porn blog network of 10 sites and just put the comp links on those blogs.
