Hello asiansamurai it would take about 2 to 4 weeks before the "May Payday Update". And it would be stable. For example in 2 weeks i would deff. see a big serp rise in easy-med comp. keywords. After May it is really random. Some sites still get a big rise in 2 weeks some hasn't change much after 24 days. People say it is 30 days of sandbox and lets hope so. One of the weird things i see is when i build links to my clients their keywords jump like 50th to 15th spot in 4-5 days. Then after 2-3 days. They return back to their original state. And they jump again. I guess that is something google does to mess things up. On the other hand i belive that they will come back to the first jump spot at the end when the sandbox period is over. I honestly belive if you are getting decent backlinks from PBN and don't overdo mass link building when the dust settles you will deff. get a serp rise. It is impossible you won't bec. thats how google works. And will work the same way for a very long time according to Matt Cutts. They just delay things to prevent churn burn in my opinion.

Seobuck its impossible to loose your rank with 10 backlinks only or 100.You need mass link building to drop your seps which is called neg seo. And thats really hard to do and does not always work. On the other hand there is no white hat link building. When you "build" links to your website to increase pr and serps that is blackhat. You can use both it won't mass things up. I suggest mixing pbn links with quality web 2.0 , bookmark and press release services. I think that is the best combination and give you a good serp rise. I also suggest nice anchor text diversity so you won't raise a red flag and that is it.
