I have a question, I'm pretty new to all of this. When these networks get hit (I'm guessing you have lost a blog or two to google updates... since this sales thread went up in 2014) Do we get any kind of notification? How will I know how many of these blog posts stay indexed over time? Will I be able to see them all in AHREFS?

Yes, when blog is penalized or deindexed, its removed from network. New blogs are also added over time.
