Added Vbulletin and the platforms you suggested on the to do list.

And a separate app (addon) for Web2.0.

Are you using Bitdefender AV? A few days ago I had a client with exactly same issue. When he clicked on the button to choose where to save the backlinks, the app just froze. After disabling some AV modules, the issue had gone.

yes,i have bitdeffender installed.thx for your answers.btw,i am posting links to elgg now but on links i get as profile they come without my links,there is a setting i miss?i have submission failed,title is missing,but i have added the titles on task
for bookmarks and profiles, you have to add links in the Links box, because it has to insert a link in the bookmark and and in the Website URL field. You will find that info In the "Template Info". It says there that Links are required to be inserted in the Links box.
