Checked out the Article. Facebook seems to have a big play in SEO. Do you think it would be better to create a website for say a betting Tipster, then use a FB page to direct traffic to it or else just use an actual Facebook page as a tipsters page?

that really depends on your goals and how you drive business. its a hard call. i think promoting a fb page is tougher than a website.
