After a few weeks, I'm ranking #1 for a medium competition PPD keyword.

I have used this service for 2 months (2nd month was auto-renew, so be careful of your Paypal subscription if that wasn't your intention). I have used many SEO services before on this forum and from the others, and have always yielded successful results. Never once have I subscribed to more than 1 service at a time - I usually change my service providers once every 3 months, so as not to be seen as "spammy". I have also never given a negative review, and I believe that everyone's just here to make a living. However, after using Candybar's services, I must say I was extremely disappointed.

When I subscribed, I had to post again in this thread to remind the service provider of my payment. He then proceeded to do work and I saw a slight improvement on my SERP. Into the second month, after the second Paypal payment was automatically charged, I don't see any positive results in SERP.

Today, I received an email from Google:

Google has detected a pattern of artificial or unnatural links pointing to your site. Buying links or participating in link schemes in order to manipulate PageRank are violations of Google's Webmaster Guidelines.

As a result, Google has applied a manual spam action to yourDOMAIN. There may be other actions on your site or parts of your site.

This wasn't my first time using a link building service, but certainly the first time I have received a ban from Google. I checked my SERP results using Market Samurai, and see that every single keyword that I used to rank <10 in , have now dropped to >50 rank in SERP results.

I am running an offline business, and this SERP rank drop has adversely affected my business. I'm posting it here to give a warning to all the potential buyers of this service. Be careful who you engage.

To the seller, do you have a solution to this problem?

dude, buying high PR backlinks is super blackhat and obviously you didn't know what you were getting into...and if you pointed them directly to your money site, ouch...you need to create buffers between your site and the blackhat links...

Wow! I only ordered on the 28th Jan. Candybar sent me a pm to inform me work had started. I was not ranked, only indexed.

Looks like i jumped the gun a bit here. I did some of my own linkbuilding beforehand and it seems this is what ranked it this high. I did this my own linkbuilding on 3 other sites with and had similar results. Tried to contact the OP on skype since he put up his username, but after 4 days, he has yet to accept my contact request. A bit dissapointing. I have built links after i started this service and they are indexed on Ahrefs. None from this service are yet indexed? I know this is a business, and they will probably drag oout alot of the links to get you to pay the 2nd month on the subscription, but i thought at least a few would be indexed by now. If i have no contact with the OP within the next couple of days, i will be canceling my subscription.

Please don't tell me you guys used PBN links to your money site? I bought tons of links for several websites and I used Web 2.0 buffer sites and my rankings are steadily climbing up.

Also, if your site doesn't have diversified links before buying hundreds of high PR PBN links, that explains why you got penalized.

You are using a 98% anchor text without link diversification

You can see your backlinks being created and indexed

A lot of the high authority links currently pointed to your site, which you can check on ahrefs

The reason you are seeing quick movement and then dropping out is due to the lack of diversification links,
and your over 98% for one anchor text is not good
