Got PMed with a question if you get login/passwords with the report so that you can login later and edit them. Might not be clear from the OP, but the answer is yes.

I've done a lot of SEO work for local retail businesses including linking, videos, citations, site optimization, etc.
What I'm finding however, is that it's becoming more difficult every day to beat Yelp in the local listings. For
many of my clients Yelp dominates the first page of Google for almost all of the keywords. In fact, Yelp
usually has the top 3 POSITIONS! Obviously Google is in love with Yelp. This is a real problem especially
when my clients don't have good Yelp reviews. So, give us feedback on your success with beating Yelp
for LOCAL retail clients with your service. Thanks!

Hey Andrew it sounds like you come highly recommended. Kudos and congrats on the momentum you've been building. Would your service be effective for a newly verified google+ local listing? Are g+ local and google places still the same?
 
So far no complaints....great.

Question: do you specifically do citations specifically for the industry that our business is into? Meaning if I was a dentist, will you specifically find citation that's mostly used by dentist?

Hi Troon, it seems like what you're talking about is more ORM than it is local SEO. If my line of thinking is accurate, my Social Foundations service would probably be a lot more suitable for what you're trying to do. If you're trying to kick off listings from the front page of your brand search like Yelp or ROR, this is probably the first step.

Yes, citations are a very healthy start for a brand-new business. I started a local site back in Oct/Nov and one of the first things I did was citaitons, even before the Google listing was verified. Some folks say to wait for the verification, I didn't and didn't have any problems.

Regarding your last question, Google Places and G+ local have merged and old listings are getting merged automatically (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
