I have used HostGator for years, never had a single problem with them at all. $9.95 a month, an option pack you cant beat and customer service that is second to none. Maybe thats just me, I dont know what happened in your case, but usually they dont care what the hell you do - you must have been draining their resources pretty hard lol...sucking up bandwidth with your evil scripts..

though dreamhost.com gives gernerous space and bandwidth, i would stay away from them if you are using sites that us MySQL or are heavily visited. they overcrowd their servers and page load times can be very high.

Dreamhost is totally shit - really cheap yeah, but each month 1 day the server is down, they try to earn the maximum benefit by having more accounts than the server can handle.

Not recommended, and also wont recommend you Network Solutions a bunch of scammers.

Guys, you should be using multiple host to get the benefit of multiple C block ips, buy a few off of ebay, and get a few elsewhere, but trust me on this DIVERSIFY
