99 percent of the time, this means you need to set English as your default language in IE. Let me know if this gets you sorted out
Actually, I am having the same problem. Did you ever figure out how to get it to work? Is there some extra component for Windows you need to install. I put in a support ticket yesterday but still waiting for a response.
OK we finally figured out whats up with the lastest updates and about 1 percent of the users that are having issues. We will add it to the standard install next time but you can grab it here..

Just install this, then restart your client and you should be good to go. For some
reason some PC seem to be missing this file.

To anyone that cant get the accounts to come out of check mode...
If you are using personal accounts it stands to reason when you login from one ip, like a phone for instance, then twitter/facebook/etc will have a problem with another totally different ip indicating you in another part of the world several minutes later trying to post. Its kinda like your bank seeing atm transactions in several parts of the world and holding your account until you can confirm it was you.
Be patient. The software works extremely well. Just think logically about what it is doing and what you are doing if you run into issues. Also keep in mind various connection issues can cause accounts to go into check mode temporarily i have found.

Only 15 google/facebook/twitter points in 12 hours. Every account is good. I hope this will change in the new update.

Okay something is happening here. downloaded and installed the microsoft file. Updated and restarted the client.
G+ status is good, FB and Twitter stil say check but at the credits tab my traffic jumped from 25 to 46.
In the left bottom it says running job...account opened job completed.
This is probably a good thing even if the status stays check?

I feel bad for the OP some days, think i am going to throw a bone to the neewbies, IF a FREE software gets updated all the time for your benefit....
A. Say thank you on occasion
B. Don't post every time your pc burps or you can't figure something out that has been addressed 5x again, for free, from the OP
C. Stop being annoying overall and filling a thread that is supposed to be useful with your lazy bullshit. There is a support system that is in place for legit issues.
