Glad that Autofill Magic saved you hours of time.

We will add support for bookmarks and other platforms in the future. We plan to implement bookmarks, video sites, article directories and doc sharing sites. I will be a little while though.

Mini tutorial: Avatars setup

A user asked how to set up avatars in Autofill Magic. I thought I would share this mini tutorial with all of you:

Autofill Magic is not adding avatars automatically. But you can set it up to chose a random avatar image from a folder.

Here is how I do it:

1. Do a Google search for "free avatars". Find 100 avatars and save them all to a folder.

2. Now rename each image file so they are called 00.jpg, 01.jpg, 02.jpg ........ 99.jpg

3. Then in the avatar field in Autofill Magic you put the path to your avatar folder e.g. C:\Users\username\Documents\SEO\avatars\{#2}.jpg

That is it. The {#2} part is a special marker (explained in this tutorial) that will create a random number between 00 and 99. That will perfectly match your image file names.

If you have fewer than 100 images you can simply spin the avatar file name. For 20 images it would look like this.
C:\Users\username\Documents\SEO\avatars\{1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10|11|12|13|14|15|16|17|18|19|20}.jpg

But be aware that not all sites will let you autofill the avatar. Some sites sites require you to browse for the avatar. Still it is nice to set up a folder with a bunch of avatars so it is fast and easy to chose one.

Though this tool have an universal filling form function, if we can add a function that we can customize our lists, add or remove other website we collect ourselves, that would be very nice, as you know sometimes we need different lists to rank different money sites.

I love the tool already, but I would like you to implement this if possible. It would be huge if you could:

1. Basically, I'm proposing that you implement nested markers. Let's say that I put the #LINKMARKER# into my spun article.

2. Now, I want to put something like {Check out #LINK1#, an excellent post by #BRANDNAME#| You might want to go to #BRANDNAME# and check out their latest post, which can be located here - #LINK1#}. Now, I copy this spintax and paste it into the #LINKMARKER# marker. That way, whenever I put a #LINKMARKER#, it would only choose one sentence variation from this example. Then, I just fill out my #BRANDNAME# with my site brand, and #LINK1# with my usual <a href> spintax.

3. I'm proposing this because in the current version you can only do it once in the article, because you have to paste the spintax (point #2) directly to the article and the links will be put in the same place in every article variation.

If you could make this, it would be officially the best tool on the planet for Tier 1 links. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. You can already make custom lists since the sites are organized as regular Firefox bookmarks, you can arrange them any way you like. Also keep in mind that the bookmarks are not related to the profile other than the name of the folder. You can switch profile and still use the same bookmarks. Hope it makes sense...

Oh, I forgot something. We do plan to make it possible for users to add custom sites and tweak Autofill Magic to there needs. I have to honest and say that it might be a little while. But it is definitely on our list. I imagine something right-clicking on a field and then choosing Always fill this field with: and then a list with all the options. I really don't want any tricky templates or demand for coding knowledge. Simple, fast, flexible and easy is the goal.

Well in that case it already is the best tool on the planet for tier 1 links. You can do exactly what you describe with the find and replace feature. It is even better than what you are looking for because you can replace any marker or word in your article with what ever you want. Most other softwares have a limited number of fixed markers, but with Autofill Magic you define your own and use as many as you want. And as you say, this is great for achieving random link placement and a hole bunch of other things.

3. Now, I create 2 new operators (#LINK1# and #BRAND#) and put my spun links and brand name variations (for co-citation signal) and I delete the rest of the same.

The problem is, it doesn't work, because markers only replace what is inside of a single operator, but they don't jump to see what's in the next operator that I have defined. In this way, if I want to have a spun sentence which also has a few markers inside of it, I have to put it in one place in the article, because the nesting doesn't work. Don't think that I'm bashing this tool, it's probably the best T1 I've ever used for semi manual posting

The autofill button is almost 80% of times enough to fill out everything correctly. I use the "Fill out this field" other 20% of the time. The ability to add our own notes and to customize it (make sure to create an option to delete the customization, because of the changing nature of these quality sites) would make me speechless.

Ah, I get it. Thanks for pointing that out. It should be easy to fix. I will see if I can add support for nested marker in the upcoming version. If not it will most likely be in the next one.

Great! That is exactly how Autofill Magic was intended to be used. I think that some users overlook that it is universal and can be used with any site. So nice to hear some feedback on this.

We will add it. It has been a part of the plan all the time. But I don't dare to say when.
