I have made a detailed "tutorial" video that is now on the website to explain a step by step process on how to tackle this very large list of Pligg sites I will supply you. It makes things a little easier.

I see the tutorial, but still even with this mehtod it is going to take a while. You have to go through each one, then you have to select the ones that didnt work, delete them, then redo it. So with a list of a couple thousand sites you have a lot of clicking to do since there is no way to mass select the websites that couldnt produce an account.

Then, for pligg sites, you have to go into each one and find a category that it has. So that takes time too. When dealing with the amount of them, it is going to take a while to set up for sure.

What I had hoped was that you could highlight the sites and then just press a button to sleect them all. Otherwise as your list grows, you have to go through and deselect / select the ones you do not want to create an account for. It's all tedious, which is where the time comes in.

We are actually working on a "Pligg Network" now. We have a few sites in the "beta test" mode. Having some issues, because we are using the new Pligg 1.0 beta version (more secure).

But if we can iron out the bugs, it will be similar to what we are offering now... but it will also appeal to the "AutoPligg" user base.

We are also working on a way to have out system create the user accounts (like we do now), but to also export the necessary XML file, so all you (the user) would have to do is just "Import" that file in BMD!!! Then all your usernames, passwords, emails, categories, etc... would be filled in for you. I don't have a time for completion yet... but we are hoping in the beginning of April.

A quick update to our "test" project using our Private Social Bookmarking Network and BMD... in the last week just after one run from BMD... we now have 414 backlink's ALL FROM SOCIAL BOOKMARKING SITES!!!!

I have "throttle limits" set... so in a 24 hours period its really limited to no more than 20.

There are a lot of factors as I am sure you are aware (domain age, etc)... but its usually just a few days before you start seeing the results. I usually check Yahoo Site Explorer... they pick up the backlinks quick. Google sees them too... but as is true with Google.... they don't always make the results evident.

In my "test" example above, all those backlinks were honestly within a little over a week.

I will try to get more "research" done with 3rd party sites that are using the network.

As many (or most) of you are probably aware of... Google (like clockwork) did a Page Rank update yesterday (last night).... and it looks like the Private Social Bookmarking Network weathered the storm pretty well... we had a few sites go up in rank, and took a few take small hits. Nothing to drastic. All in all I am pretty happy with the outcome. I always cross my fingers when they do this!

The really good news is that we have acquired several more "new" PR3 domains that we are in the process of getting possession of and getting a new server box up and running.

I know I have mentioned it previously... but we have three new servers up.. and also finally have control of several new PR2 and PR3 domains with nice age to each of them.

Once I get them setup (I am hoping during this long holiday weekend)... we will have even more capacity for some new members.

Exactly how many different c class ip's does your network use?

I don't have the exact figure to be honest.

We are currently running the 40 sites over 5 different servers. Some are on the same IP.

I have three new servers... and am in the process of converting some old aged page ranked blogs that I purchased over for use on our network.

The sites being bookmarked via our network are seeing very positive results with the additional bookmarks.

By subscribing to our network... you are tapping into a great new source for backlinks... especially if you are using an automated method like Bookmarking Demon.

Review:

Service was great and account was set up fast. I also noticed increase on all three major search engines(google, msn and yahoo). If I had BMD I would continue service but just too much work for me to do it manually. I would recommend this service for people who have already have BMD or to those who don't mind manual submission. Great service!
