Yes, you may use it with TOR as it has been mentioned in this thread by someone,
I have not used TOR so I will not be able to give you step by step instruction.

2 others qs. How many different comments do you recommend we use? The more comments the less change of it being caught by akismet? And finally last q. If we dont put any Url in the comment does it automatically add the url via the the websites text file? Im guessing it would be to put in the actually comment to via smily hiding etc...

It will be good to write as many unique comments as possible. Yes, the more *related* comments (related to ur keyword) will decrease the chance of it being caught by askimet.

I'll not recommend adding urls to comments, this increases the rate of it going to spam. Just add the url to your websites file and that should be fine.

so i posted about 1k links atleast each for 2 websites. A few days ago. For one site backlinkwatch found an extra 6 from the uwcs blast and for the other there was just 1.....this seems very wrong(and when I say posted I meant ht program said it successfully posed to the blog)

A. Any and all the search engines which index your site and the site you have targeted, do not give you backlinks instantly, it takes time for them to show up. Please wait for at least few weeks and then check again.

A. To pass a Judgment in just 7 days is too less in case of backlinks. Please be patient and give it some time say a month or so and then see how the things turn out.

The SOFTWARE works for sure and has been proven over and over again. If you are not able to make backlinks then stop and see what you are doing wrong.

Also, commenting on just 1K urls is NOTHING!, you should comment on thousands of urls and then see the results. So basically what you need to do is everyday harvest a list of urls for 2-3 keywords and then make *related* comments on them. Do this for a week or so and then see the results.

All I can say is have patience!

Just delete all your cookies and reset your IP by restarting your modem. Also, try using proxies with Proxifier.

If it still doesn't work, just use some other URL harvester available for free on this forum, like:

I put a unique string in my comments that looks like a signature or nick (myname12345) etc. Then I can google for that string and see how many there are!

I find if I run the same batch multiple times the extra times get me no more links, only the first one really; despite the randomness.

From the referrer logs I can see most of my comments go into the moderated/spam queue though.

Does it support spinning {aaa|bbb} in the comments?

No, My tool is not broken, it is in place, where it belongs and working perfectly

What kind of problem you are facing with URL Harvester ? Please explain.

OR better still; Send a screenshot (of your tool) to my eMail, so that I may help you with the same.

Also download and Install the latest version of Dot Net from Microsoft site.

Maybe you need a fresh copy of the Harvester, so if you have the original ZIP file, extract the same from there.

Anyone got any tips on setting up the harvester so that it harvests thousands of URL's at a time, as opposed to the limit I'm currently seeing of about 1700 per run? I'm running it on a CNS VPS so have a static IP.

Also, anyone got any search strings for the harvester that have worked better than the defaults suggested or are they the best ones?

Any suggestions appreciated.

That's because of Google's limit. You may harvest more URLs by using Multi-Keywords. For more information to use Multi Keywords, see Q18 here.

Ok thanks, so I decided to do a highly themed run using the keyword for a site. And as I am spamming blogs that are exactly the same topic I decided to write a comment which also invited them to trade blogroll link with me as it is a good hand-written blog.

I wrote a spun comment (about 18% according to dupcheck), and 4 random user name, but same email and same url for all. Sent out about 1000 and 700 success.

However none of them seem to be indexed (I included a unique string to google for), so I wondered what was wrong as in the past I had got at least a few indexed.

So I tried to go to one of those blogs manually and comment with the same data. Guess what -- it says "discarded"! It was a wordpress.com blog as well so we know it is using Akismet.

Ok so I test some variations and I find that if I use my domain for the url or the email then it is discarded, otherwise it is ok. Therefore this means the domain is flagged as spam by Akisment I guess.

Now I can't even do manual commenting for this domain!

Can you tell me what I did wrong? And is there any way to get my domain un-flagged?

Welcome to the world of link spamming. Did you not expect askimet to flag the domain if you dropped 1,000 links? Spam the other 2 million wordpress blogs that don't have askimet installed....it will stick sooner or later on lots of blogs.

When you get the download, in the welcome message it has been clearly specified.

Read the FAQ?s.

Read the Do's and Dont's and follow them ardently.

few lines from Do's and Dont's
Don't, I repeat Don't use the SAMPLE files.
Use min 50 to 100 emails
Use min 50 to 100 UNIQUE comments
Use min 50 to 100 names /authors
Use good working HTTP proxies

Read the above mentioned again and try to find out what mistake(s) you have made ?

Now, apart from this, there are some other things you may also note:

Firstly, you may buy some cheap .info domains and 301 permanent redirect them to your main site.

Along with .info, you may also use some of the free domain services like .co.cc, .co.nr and .tk. All you need to do is setup some free domains and then redirect them to your main site, so that all the backlinks juice also gets transferred.

Now, to unlock your domain, all you need to do is, mail Akismet developers to remove your domain from the ban list and just tell them that one of your competitor had done this to get you domain banned.

Another Tip: Try and make some REAL/Manual comments with your fresh URLs as Akismet is a *learning* plugin and if around 20-30 comments from your domain gets approved, it automatically gets added into the whitelisted domains list.
