Yeah, sorry for the lack of update. The program did just start working again a couple hours later. Don't know if it was on 'my' end as I had not changed anything from the previous day and my computer is virus free, but nonetheless everything is working fine!

I had this problem a couple times in the past. I think it was just that the program couldn't call home when it was starting up. A few mins later it was fine so I had/have no concerns.

Same with me..... Working fine now...

It may have not been able to call back at the server at that time. Maybe the server was down for a few minutes. Don't worry. This is a very rare case

It is also really, really slow today, yesterday I did like 10k comments, today it struggles to do 10. Even using the same blog harvest keyword files as yesterday, it's not a scraping issue.

The software is Desktop based not server based, Please check with your ISP.

Are you going to say what CON/ENC means?

Internet is fine, 10MB connection working perfectly.

Then UWCS should also work fine. NONE of the hundreds of users are reporting any problem.
Con Enc/ Pro : means Connection Encoding Problem ?

Simply said, the Number of connection a PC make with the internet are called threads.
