OP sent me couple of Home Pages mock up and I don't like because he didn't read my requirement so I edited one of that and sent back to him and ask him to make the home page like that and I also made a product page so he will understand what I need. Now he is asking me to send him JPEG pages to do coding. It is ridiculous. I don't know how to make jpeg pages. I can only cut and paste and this is how I did for the home page. Please don't give me any excuse and start to do the coding for the home page and copy paste the content from my old website to the new one by using the product page design I sent to you. That's it.

Communication with OP: 0/10 Every time after days waiting, he sent me a ONE SENTENCE email and instead of delivering me work but asked me things I don't have.

Understanding of the job: 0/10 I sent OP detail requirement in the first email and after weeks, he kept asking me the question in the first email and he never tried to understand it.

It is a seriously nightmare to me. I have been waiting for ONE month already and he only delivered me a HOME page jpeg design and kept asking me to send him rest of designs. I don't them. If I know how to design, then I will do your job then.

OP, listen, you just do you best to finish the rest of the job and copy the content from old website to new one and that's it. I will do the rest. Let's finish this asap. I have a deadline for it and I can't wait for ever.

Are all you guys experiencing the same thing or just me? Do I expect too much? I don't know why it is so difficult?

I am getting irritated by you. I have told you that your work is being done. You just sent the final files to code a day back. So please back off. I will let you know once it is done.
 
Most problems have been solved. Remaining will be solved soon.
 
Most projects are either wrapped or will be wrapped very soon. We can take new projects if clients are interested.
 
OP has delivered 1st project of 2. The 2nd one is on hold right now by my decision so the delay is not on him. Project 1 is 90% there and still working on minor tweaks.

As requested:

My website is finally finished. The work was paid for on May 29 and after a lot of frustration I accepted it as done on June 6th.

Quality: 7/10 The site looks good, but I had to repeatedly ask for things to be done to get them done.

Communication: 3/10 Whenever I would ask for a status, the most I would get was "Soon". Even when time frames were given they always passed and again I had to repeatedly ask for status updates. His 4-6 day time frame turned into 9 days without any communication and his 1-2 day revision process took up to a week at one point.

This experience was like getting my teeth pulled: painful, but something that I needed done. I will not be getting another project done by the OP.

As for the constructive criticism: The OP obviously has some talented people working for him/her but the communication between them and their QA process needs a drastic overhaul if they are to be successful.

Great work by OP, the timeframe was extended a bit due to my own demands and changes which is more than fair. Communication was on point and within reasonable time.
 
I am sorry that you feel this way, but when a client asks for a rough estimate then we do claim that it takes 3-6+ weeks to get a basic website built, because everything is custom and done from scratch. So had you been more patient, it would have still taken the same amount of time.

We can rush orders if we are provided the PSD to code etc, however for most clients it does take well over a month (most of the times) to get something perfect to their liking because of our unlimited free revisions policy.

I am seriously pissed after seeing this.

- The home page template is different from any other pages template. They just simply copy the content from existing website and put on the new one. Then why I need your service then.

- Every single details I requested before I placed order doesn't reflect in the website. this is not acceptable.

Unprofessional service and I want to have 100% refund. Buyer beware. If you want to suffer, then please order this.

There was a misunderstanding. You had approved that page as the product page. Hence the confusion. Anyway, will redo for you.

PS: NOTE
You need not opt for revisions, revisions are optional. However, we provide a custom bespoke service and offer revisions to everybody, free of charge. However, chances are that you will require revision of some sort or the other and we will be there for you if revisions are needed.

Also, we provide all source files for every full price paid project.
